      I'm not subscribed to anything however - from the mail logs - it appears that emails are sent out. They may be blocked somewhere on their way (maybe even before your spam filter).

And seriously - I think, that the lighting on the first picture was a little better. And reflection in the mirror - this is the first thing that I saw - there is no reflection, so it looks a bit strange.

      Unfortunately Honeycomber uses some pro-only API methods to subtract solids. You could try OSCoolean Boolean http://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=112055#p112055 - which works on free. You will need to make a set of smaller solid shapes arranged in a 3d matrix [to form the 'holes'], ensuring that none of them stick through the surface of the original or leave a very thin outer shell - and then subtract those in turn from the original solid [the Outliner might help with these selections ?]. It's more work, but it will do it... There are also some free suitable 'Shell' tools that will 'hollow-out' a solid - look for those in the Plugins Index...

      Yes, and the line is correct: <unit meter="0.02539999969303608" name="inch" /> but I tried some more exports and moved around the geometry to see which entries in the collada-file changed. One line (perhaps something like the origin of the group?) had very small values in the original file: <matrix>2.775557561562893e-015 -1 0 2.314960629921188 1 2.775557561562893e-015 0 -7.105427357595022e-015 -0 0 1 -2.775557561561001e-017 0 0 0 1</matrix> and changed to: <matrix>1 0 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 1</matrix> after moving the group around and back to the origin. So I think the problem was not the geometry itself but the position of the group relative to the origin?!
