Sorry. You didn't explain very clearly what you want to do. There is a Trimble Connect Sync app that can be used to bulk upload files to your Trimble Connect storage. I'm not sure if it's available for non-paying users but you could look into it.

You can also go to your Trimble Connect storage in your browser and then drag and drop files from the folder on your computer where you keep them. As a SketchUp Free user you get 10 Gb of storage.

@djh I saw in a different post of yours that one must reboot. Now, it works - I open with my custom toolbar and trays.

I would humbly suggest you export your keyboard shortcuts regularly keeping a copy of the file in the cloud such as your email, dropbox or gdrive. In the event you lose your shortcuts or you are working on a new machine, you can easily retrieve your keyboard shortcuts in a flash

Thanks guys, theres a few alternatives and I'll look at each. Not to discount Unity but I suspect that it will end up being influenced by the fact that I have friends with a good knowledge of both Unreal Engine and Blender which will likely give me a boost and save time.

It turns out that it has to do with geometry on layer 0. I was getting lazy and left a few items there and in fact my linework meant for the vector viewport was also still on layer 0. However, even after tidying up the remedy didn't show in Layout on 'model update' but until I'd restarted Layout.

As Dave says, SU uses only a single core, so there is no benefit to quad vs duo unless you have enough other things running at the same time to fill all your cores. However, SU will benefit from a faster clock rate or from a faster CPU architecture, so potentially an i7 might be faster than an i5 depending on details - but we're talking about incremental, not for example a factor of 2 or more.

Dave R, in hidden line mode, the same thing happens as in a monochrome face style, single click selects an edge or face quickly, double click selects a face and its boundaries, quite promptly triple clicking selects a face but if the edges were already selected, they deselect. In wireframe single clicking and double clicking have a slightly quicker response but single click selects an edge, double click adds two adjacent faces but still no triple click.
My project is now complete and it hasn't been a major problem, but curious since its only in this model.

I have come across this as well and my thoughts are that the dimension is not snapping to the appropriate end point because the point is masked by other geometry. For instance, with a section cut you may want to dimension a feature that is further back in your model than another object that appears in front of it. Although the dimension end point looks to be anchored to the correct spot it is not. Sometimes I have found the only way round this is to go into the model and draw a temporary line to anchor the dimension correctly and erase this afterwards. I often draw kitchen worktops with curved front edges and in rooms where the worktop butts up to a wall this problem occurs when the room is sectioned and the worktop needs a height dimension. Hope this makes sense!

Unfortunately, I did buy it in March. After a new installation of Sketchup, I tried to buildedge again, and discovered that it isn't available. I'm really sorry I wasted my money.
