Are you trying to export back edges? Back edges are a raster thing so there's no vector lines to export. You could switch to Wireframe, though.

A new HDRI straight out the oven. I captured a strange paved pathway in the middle of nowhere. It's always been quite a mystery to me! Again, low angle sun with warm afternoon light. [highlight=#ffffbf:1y72mcn5]The idea for future versions is to lock with password functions or layers just as in Excel or other software and restrain access (protect)[/highlight:1y72mcn5] Hello This topic is a wish for the future versions . When , for example , you work with EXCEL , it's possible to protect the cell with a password . Everybody can use your file , but nobody can change the protected cells . if you you can lock a group objet to avoid select him , i think that it should be possible to protect a layer or some entities with a password ! it's the same thing with dynamics components ; you can used them but you cannot make change with the free soft chri

Because of the issue I added an extra step near the end of my ImageTrimmer tool. The PNG Image initially needs transparency to work out what;s to be cut off the shape. But then you have a component face with a material using the PNG as a texture that won't receive shadows SO you are then asked if you want to 'flatten' to texture image so it works [like a JPG], rather than the transparent PNG ! Answering 'yes' fixes it [it's automatically made anyway and is discarded if you decide not to use it!]

tips Some Sketchup noted Hints: by dukejazz in the making of Another Sketchup Plus Ver. 1.2 1 To manually (flush a clipboard) 3d entities clean: Use 3d text tool and copy a leter of text Then [cancel] out. 2 Another Sketchup (auto clear clipboard) uses a Cmd.link script to clear clipboard. A ruby API script that could do this, was not found.? 3 (Security reasons): Flush clipboard when you leave your work area. 4 (Never loose a documents) Make use of making copies of your document in your brower. 5 (Smart) Open brower's copies to rework on keeps you saving back to original. 6 (Limits gray-out) Keep startup and console loaded plug-ins to small and few. 7 (Keeps Skp file size small) In model, components and materials: uses (Via) Save and purge. 8 (Watch memory flow:) Task manager: It is normal for parents overhead memory to be larger than a child. 9 (Large doc gray-outs) Open a new parent copy of the document to paste back into it, because of larger overhead of note 8. 10 (Max File save size) Max file size is by power of zoom extents, and by zoom in/out decreases the save size? 11 (Polyreduce if you can) Overworking objects gives higher code counts. 12 (Bug splats)HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Google\SketchUp8. a (Find) ToolbarsUser-Summary and ToolbarsUserCustom-Summary. b (via) Right-click_ permission special _ to you full control on and you read off. The resticted and system read only_full control is off . This (Locks) Toolbars to fix num ToolbarsUser_limits overloading your registers. 13 By using a Sketchup::require statement, in a rb, loads a rbs scrip to console. 14 Fix you startup rbs code to zero by via note 8. Another Sketchup Plus Ver. 1.2 runs as ruby script with extensions.

From your OP image it looks like the roof truss does not extend to the garage end which I question. However, I assume this will probably require permit and code compliance but again it is not clear if this will be condition space ( code requirements different) which I think it will not be since it is an add on. I would first find your the local requirements , if any , in regards to code. Even a visit to the local codes and inspection office ( city engineers) may get you some helpfull input before going to the expense to hire a PE. Some of those offices will even have hand outs showing you what the design requirements are for their local area. These may have the regional climate conditions factored in. My guess is a beef up in some of the beams will be required

The background and foreground planting are primarily photographs in .png format taken thru fotosketcher seperatly and consequently have the same all-over texture as the main image. As I work,I normally overlay colour(which are just blobs of colour with a strong gaussian blur filter applied and transparency reduced) over the entire image which helps to integrate the final image. One trick I often do is to take the final finished image in jpeg format thru fotosketcher a second time and overlay this fotosketcher image with the finished photoshop image (normal blend or softlight blend, with a transparency of as little as 15 %).Its all about overlaying layers and playing with the transparency.

Indeed you are completely right that SU would need better UV mapping tools. These are workarounds but thank to the plugin authors we at least have them.

The method in the QuarrIT pdf is the best way to remember your toolbars and restore them BUT if there's a version update or you have several new installed then running it can give unexpected results, you need to make regular backups of your registry so that when it does fail you know where you'll 'restore' back to...
