For something like that I would use Curviloft on the bottom, too. There are some places where you are likely to have problems because the upper surface drops below the rim. Is that the way you want it to be? Also make sure you correct the face orientation so white front faces are out. What version of SketchUp are you actually using? Your profile says "2019 Make/Free" which doesn't exist but the file you posted is V2017. Knowing the real version will help us help you with the sorts of tools you can use.

It's not very clear what "features" you want to hide. All I can see is a mess of guidelines that should probably be deleted. That can be done by going to the Edit menu and choosing Delete Guides.

BimX is way to view a Archicad project. BimX only lets you look at the model and drawings. It does not export anything. You would have to get the Archicad file saved to the skp format for you to work with it.

Box's answer is right if the four corners are to be at specified arbitrary heights that cannot be assured to be coplanar. On the other hand, shawb is right if you want a planar but skew-tilted roof. In that case you can arbitrarily choose heights for three corners but then the fourth has to match the plane defined by their triangle.

The bundle is created as you use the Extension Store tool to download and install extensions. Keep in mind it only adds extensions to the bundle that come from Sketchucation. If you are installing extensions from SketchUp's Extension Warehouse, you would use the Extension Warehouse to install those later. If you download extensions directly to your computer and install them yourself using Install Extension in the Extension Manager, they won't be included in your bundle or in the EW set.

No. You could combine two texture images in your favorite image editor and use the result as a new texture in SketchUp.

As Cotty explained... A component-definition initially has the default material applied to its faces. You can then apply a material to an instance of that component, thereby changing its appearance. You could insert several instances and give each of those a different material. But the underlying component-definition still has the default material for its faces. If you edit the component and apply a material onto some faces then those faces will always be displayed with that material - however, any faces within it which have the default material will display with the material applied onto its instance [if any]. So if you want the component to always show a particular material add that to the faces within it... An example where this is useful could be with a simple low-poly car component. Make the component and initially set all faces to the default material. Edit the faces and apply a glass material to windows, black to the tires, red to the tail-lights, grey to the interior etc... but leave the bodywork 'default'. Now with just one component you can insert several instances and paint those, red, blue, white etc and they'll all look different, but will use the one definition...

@errror404 said: Thanks for the tip about working on large scale... I'm already aware of that potential issue (forgot the name of the technique where you make a component and then scale it 10x or 100x larger to work on the larger component). I think you are referring to what has become known as "The Dave Method". @errror404 said: I think my problem is not the tools or the plugins, but the fact that I want to twist my track too quickly and it creates some bumps in the road that would derail the cars. I think you would see a similar issue in the real track, too.
