    Hi,

I have an issues with one of the projects I'm currently working with. I need to import .bimx file into SketchUp and add some objects around it.

The problem is that I can't find a way to somehow convert this file into a format that could be imported into Sketchup. All I can do is view this file using BIMx Desktop Viewer. But it doesn't allow to save file/export in other formats. Archicad doesn't open BIMx files anymore too.

Maybe someone here has some previous experience and can guide me through this process? Google hasn't helped me at all.

    Thank you

BimX is way to view a Archicad project. BimX only lets you look at the model and drawings. It does not export anything. You would have to get the Archicad file saved to the skp format for you to work with it.
