I am using Snow Leopard v 10.6.8 and have full read and write permissions for my complete hard drive. I have tried to save this local collection in my Documents folder as well as the hard drive / library /application route.

Thanks Nigel, I thought this thread was dying a slow death.... I don't use ACAD myself but do import / export to it, hence the question. I have used '.' [fullstop] in SU layers but don't know how it exports. Maybe a test export with many punctuation marks should yield an answer...

Thanks guys, I got it done, may have been a good thing as I found a couple of issues that I fixed in CAD before creating the mesh.

I save the file using the reverse date as a prefix to the file name. Eg, 181024 House1.skp, 181025 House1.skp. Easy Peesy.

Photos for such things are never accurate, measurements and drawings are a better option. Photos usually only give you a way of checking exactely what is is you are trying to model. I'm working with what I have available. Otherwise, there are options available to create great 3D models from reference pictures, they are just a bit more accurate than what I need for this project. When you launch Profil Builder click on the Library window (name must become blue) press the Up / Dow arrow of the Keyboard so each familly model is scrolling and drawn ! When a familly is choosen make the same for the second Level It's not a catalog but it's not so bad And with the last icon (a yellow star) you can add to "Favorites" a profil choosen !
