@dave r said: I must be blind. I can find Special Interest forums at all. No you are not Dave, the idea was premature and got held off until after the transfer is completed. We will revisit the idea of a WW sub-forum real soon. @dave r said: Thanks Eric. FWIW, I do try to keep file sizes down when I make my models. Of course they aren't as small as they could be but they are dimensionally accurate and you could take them apart and make working drawings for your wood shop from them. And that is why I like you to post them The more ways I can learn to build anything with wood the better off I am. Thanks.

Masta, See, the transfer of the Newbie Forum was not totally useless. Have a look at the very first post here (a reply to your very last post at the old board) after the transfer has finished.

Thanks Kris, I was scaling the individual shakes to about 10" x 7" and the original image didn't seem to be changing, but scale the original image x 10 and... life is good. thanks I appreciate all the help and time.

Hi Susan and others, I purchased the SketchUp version of the plan view plants for a site plan I was doing. It worked beautifully and last night the Executive Board members and the President of the Congregation came by to meet, saw the newly embellished plan and were extremely pleased. Adding all the cars, trees, shrubs and with shadows turned on does take a heavy load on computer time but the output is worth it. Great value and of course Susan was helpful to the extremen because I initially downloaded the wrong version and she helped me get to what I needed. Thanks Susan. Allen

Ok, I found an OLD photo I like. My best are those with my tongue out or I'm snoring. Add twenty years and even more pounds, a lot less hair that's almost all grey now and it looks just like me. <cough> I'm a lifetime member of the fat club so no diet tips from me.

Juju, My layout is somewhat like Eric has. The main texture folder has 374 folders & sub folders which contains 36,442 files and my component folder has 1,084 folders & sub folders which contains 38,005 files. I know a bit extreme but this is a collection of about 11 years. The funny thing about this is that I know where everything is. [image: components.jpg] [image: textures.jpg]
