OK guys, I have these made these into a material, and they will apply . I cant get the size of them to change before applying to a surface, James shingle is 2"w x 2 3/4" high, and Mike's shingle is 3/4"x1". When I change them is SU with the scale tool, I get a larger area of the small shingles.

Will someone give me a hint? Do I have to change the image size in jpg properties? Thanks

select the material in the material browser

then selcet the edit tab, here you can edit the size and distortion and the color hue of the image... as well as some other things...

                  Thanks Kris,
I was scaling the individual shakes to about 10" x 7" and the original image didn't seem to be changing, but scale the original image x 10 and... life is good. thanks
I appreciate all the help and time.
