Also Revit architecture is capable of providing such outputs.

I don't know what renderer you use but with Thea you can render out a material ID pass and a object ID pass. They have random colors for every material/object which makes it easy to select in Photoshop.

If you model the bunkers and greens in SU, and then turn on the shadows, you might be satisfied with the results and then have no need to post process shadows in. The attached are sand piles modelled in SU, no post process of any sort. [image: LzC7_Image1.jpg]

I either make my own though the plugin or use bought catalogues. I use mxed app to make them. I never use the material library feature of sketchup. Jason Maranto did process the sorry textures. He created thumbnails that can be used in the material browser in sketchup. Then you use the auto mxm feature to replace them ate render time.

@twilightrender said: Yes, Twilight Render V2.5 is available. The Pro version is a free update for all licensed V2 Pro users (but there are some improvements for Hobby users too!). You can find all about it on our website (http://www.TwilightRender.com) and our user forum (http://www.TwilightRender.com/phpBB3). Animator inter-operation is planned for. While it may not be available immediately upon Animator's public release, we hope to follow soon after. I really appreciate your reply. If I read the documentation correctly, the only thing available for the Hobby version is the new Procedural Patterns. I am not sure what they do for me but I will update and take a look. As for Animator, I am one of the beta testers so will watch for the ability to test with Animator. IMO, this is great news. For meek, I have been animating a car was and I need some better water/foam materials and your new materials might help a lot. I might be able to take advantage of some of the other materials also. Again, I really appreciate your response.

Before you solve your problem of buy, you can use the Twillight Render Hobby who has no limitations, just differences about some functions!

@srx said: I found supersection plugin very useful for this. It makes scenes with the same scale...I think.. It zooms extents in every scene. The same scale comes from there. I use to select something on the model, maybe the project I'm working on, and zoom selection on it. If it's about the proportion of my monitor it works. If not, you have to use the method Daredevil uses but it would be best with a vertical line and zoom selection. I have a shortcut for zoom selection though it's in context menu (right click)

Just came across your post and did a very quick test re: lighting. It can be done in Photoshop. Use the 'diffuse glow' setting and then add a new layer; fill it with a yellow shade and then choose a blending mode of 'overlay' so that it doesn't look too harsh. You can also play around with the opacity of the 'diffuse glow' and yellow layer depending on how much of the details of the original photo you still want visible. Hope this helps. Be sure you don't have any color for sun/sky/HDRI. Also if you use the HDRI be sure to disable the sun.
