I have the same problem with my own website you see. My homepage shows small preview images of my projects and if you select one it takes you to that gallery, however the website does not compress the images and fetches the full size ones from my gallery so my landing page is over 18MB

I reckon Liam has a good chance with his entry, there is a good level of competition but hopefully he takes it.

It has promise, reminds me of places like the Tate modern gallery etc, definitely looking like you should finish it.

Thank you Daniel, I owe it to your teachings oh great one. not only is there a need for privacy but the wall on the right of the house needs to be a sound barrier, the neighbor has several dogs that yap day and night. I've a few neighbors like that - their dogs bark constantly the minute they see me or anyone else, and they don't stop! Your house also reminds me of the very first project in architecture school (also a house) which was on a lot bounded on three sides by 10' walls - the professor didn't want us to worry about context. I turned mine into a giant aquarium with part of the house under water. "great one" - I like that.

@tuna1957 said: Lisa, Making mistakes is part of the learning process so don't let it get you down. I made plenty of mistakes early on, heck I still do. The mistakes just aren't as bad or as often as when I first started. Soldier on and try new things and don't worry about making an error. That's why SU has an eraser tool . Thank you for your kind words Nice to see that even professionals still mess up 'cause I've been struggling a lot with SketchUp. I try to keep getting better at it, though.

Thanks Bryan, there are some things I am still not happy about, like the APC which has changed a few times too. Someday I will settle on an iteration.
