@l i am said: Bryan, did you get ant joy out of instancing? Unfortunately, no. There was something wrong with models from the warehouse. Even after fixing them, there were still problems. Too many to make it worth my time to fix. At first the selected models wouldn't instance. Once I fixed that by exploding them and then regrouping, I realized I had too many other warehouse components in the model to make it worth it. But it's something I'll keep in mind for next time and adjust my workflow accordingly. It was also a good reminder that most of the models in the 3D Warehouse are very badly made.

Not at all, I was already thinking along the lines of your comments and sometimes a nudge in the right direction is helpful and appreciated. Having moved from a three bed detached property to a one bed flat I have some of the hair loss associated with "Where the heck can I put THAT". The locality manager said I should lose the books but having slimmed my library down from over six hundred to just under three hundred, she can rock on. Now then, next test, how can I install book cases on the ceiling????? I know it CAN be done.

Thanks Bryan, biggest change will be the stairs. I cannot get a method of attaching a tea tray and set of bungee cords, a lift would be too big (thankfully, I would HATE that option).
