      Hi
This is an overwhelmingly beautiful work. And not only beautiful, but also acurate and highly detailed.
      I love it!

If you would have claimed that this would be a renovation of a FLW house somewhere, I would have believed it πŸ˜„ πŸ˜„ πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜„ ❗

The best thing is, that this is a wonderful showcase for SketchUp - The user skills provided, I know of no tool with which that could be done better...

      Best & Thanks for sharing

Thank you very much, i am honored by your kind words, you're so right about the total freedom offered by the Sketchup program, it gets better every year.
        Take care,

Impressive. Most impressive. Obi-Wan has taught you well.
I'm not convinced of the dining room/murphy bed room. Not sure it will work logistically, and tucking the dining room back within an enclosed room is counter to the Usonian house concept.

Great job. I appreciate the idea for extra bedroom, but having lived in house where the dining and kitchen were the most generous combined room, it really is nice for a smaller house. A formal (that is separate and closed off) dining room is rarely missed in my opinion in a smaller house. Bigger spaces are appreciated more. Some separation of the living room or some other rooms from the kitchen and dining is desirable to provide alternate places for people to be (as opposed to the "Great Room" concept) in my opinion. Too many very large houses devote too much of their space to a huge "great room" and you spend all your time in that one oversize space and often have little retreat from it.

Hey Daniel, so glad to get a note from you, the reason for the multi purpose room comes from the way my sister( the client ) uses her spare room now, it is primarily intended as a guest room but would be used as a dinning room only during the Christmas holidays.

I am back to using a home office and I wish I could fold up my mess and make it back into a guest room more easily. A revolving wall would be nice. πŸ’š

I think pressing a button and having the floor open up so the mess - and unwanted guests - will fall into a bottomless pit would be nice. To each their own.

Well, that's a new one. I once designed a home for client that had a formal dining room, but no living room, but did have an alcove for the Christmas tree (complete with fireplace - ya gotta hang those stocking some place). Did your sister like the design?

LOL...a bottom less pit, what a great idea!!
My sister liked it very much but initially had a problem with the design because of the stair, she was looking at the floor plan with her I phone and did not see the elevator.
