I want to do exactly what Tig described in one of my models. (Anytime I import a survey actually) In Smustard's plugin posted by Gaieus, the description says the following: @unknownuser said: Explodes all groups and components, then regroups all entities by layer Does Tig's snippet simply run through the selection organizing geometry (edges and faces) by group by layer as described? Or does it explode whatever it finds first? Because in my model I have some components that I want to keep.

Thanks for the Plugin Can you please add an option thats create an Archive file automatically after a specified period of time? Eg: Auto-Archive After every 15 minutes or auto-archive on each Auto-save (time set in preference> general) I would love this feature because most of the time I forget to Archive. Not sure if this has already been asked. Is there any way of calculating real-world shading losses via the Report option for string-connected panels please? At present if I have a string of 8 panels and one gets shaded, it seems to only calculate the losses in that one panel. In reality all 8 panels will lose power unless optimizers or microinverters are in use. It would also be good if it recognised split-cell panels, and allowed for the fact that they can still produce power from the top half if the bottom half is shaded (portrait mode).

The native Sketchup Extension Manager forces all plugins to install in the standard Plugin directory. So, it won't try to find plugins anywhere else. However, the Sketchucation ExtensionStore is capable to manage various plugin directories. I recommend you install it and manage your plugins with it.
