      Name: TIG-drapematerials.rb

      Menu: 'Plugins' > 'Drape Materials'
      OR
      Ruby-Console/Code: TIG-drapematerials

      Usage:
This tool is designed to drape the materials from the faces you have used
to drape a 'cutout' onto a surface.
First use the Sandbox Tool > Drape to drape the faces onto the surface...
OR EEbyVectorToObject Tool to extrude the faces' edges onto the surface,
then erase unwanted geometry and explode the group to intersect with the
      surface.
Preselect the surface's faces that now include the 'cutout' areas - you
need not be too careful as things other than faces in the selection are
ignored & surface-faces not immediately below the upper faces are ignored.
Activate the Tool and the materials from the upper faces are reproduced on
the cutout faces on the surface.
      It is one step undoable.

Excellent plugin. I broke it already. 😄

Actually, I think Drape failed and not the plugin.

Try EEbyVectorToObject for an alternative way of making the 'drape'...
              That might work better.
Also please make sure that the objects' size are reasonable - I had to introduce a size limit for checking faces so can you try scaling up and see if that helps... for now...

I plan to look at 'SuperDrape' tomorrow... where it will do the whole draping thing like Sandbox Tools - BUT keeping the draped surface's materials on the drapee surface... watch this space...

My new 'Super Drape' - that drapes one group onto another, and repeats the materials and texture UVs - is almost ready to publish - watch the forums tonight... Just debugging it... 🤓

***SuperDrape*** is here and somewhat makes this tool redundant http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?p=358314#p358314
