Just to negate any confusion Csaba was referring to how rubbish the video server was with the link I originally posted (and it was so bad!) so I found a link that works and replaced that initial link.

@d12dozr said: Nice! I'd love to hear about your experience with it after you've had it for a while...about printer setup, performance, etc. ...and see some photos too! Yeah no problem. Not the printer I want ideally but good enough for the basic stuff. I should be able to get enough work through it to raise enough money to purchase a more expensive one later down the line. When it gets delivered I will be sure to post some images on here.

@dave r said: DOD3R, I'm curious about something related to your post. Tutorial videos take time and, as you say, time is money. Would you be willing to pay for those tutorial videos? I am very well aware that tutorials = time = money. I am sorry a did'nt write it well previously, but I wanted to say that who would benefit most from these tutorials is trimble and they should produce and may be pay for them. Why I should not pay for them. I think there is a really little audience for these videos and even less would pay for them it would be really bad bussines. Why sould trimble pay for them or at least give bigg support for it? Because there are lot of tutorials how to make circle and puspull it. or lot tutorials for chair or whatever. And that is why lot of people thinks sketch up is NOT real deal. And opposite is true Trimble wants to sketchuppers to make houses to build and want them to by build by trimble products. Another way Trimble can look at it is. This is the cutting edge of sketch up usage for architecture. I think really small precentage of sketch up users can really even understand Nicks tutorials. Trimble as a devoloper of a program needs some people to use it on its limits so the can find them and push them little further. And even another way to look at it is that I belive we can help each other improve our workflows and I hope that even Nick learn something from us by sharing his workflow. Fun fact. I did'nt learn much new things ( maybe 2)from Nick tutorials I was aware of every feature he uses, but I never put it together this way. We need more tutorials witch explains how to use sketch up, but instead we have a lot of tutorials about how sketch up works. @unknownuser said: I've actually been giving a lot of thought to this lately. One major aspect of SU & LO that is so remarkable, is how it is so easy to customize a work flow. I've developed one that works really well for me, but certainly may not for others. In what I've discovered, there are certainly some practices that are more efficient than others, yet I will fall back to a process that is more familiar to my given process. I would love to document this in the Rey near future down to the detail that DOD3R mentions. I'm getting pretty swamped with work in the new year, and want to schedule some serious time on opening up LO further. All I hear in the back of my head, is Paul Lee, yelling CAD MUST DIE! This will be a big year for SU & LO in my opinion. I'll try my best to help. Yes! great. PS: Sorry for my english is bad obviously, but I hope it make sense. I would like to qoute: “Write drunk; edit sober.” ― Ernest Hemingway I will work on part to nex time

@unknownuser said: After a couple of days he mastered Blender The video is beautiful and clever enough. The guy is great, but not that great. I very well know what I'm talking about. But, it's possible, after a few months. After a few years, I'm still learning blender. (some parts of it) Reasonable enough. Consider what this app tries to become. Here, I repost from blenderartists.org @unknownuser said: You can do augmented reality with any software capable of export to the COLLADA file format, including Blender. It is basically a library that reads 3d information from this file and displays it when your webcam or mobile cam focus on a pre-determined pattern. The 3D software is used only to create the models and the animations; all the other stuff needed to create the Augmented reality is done in another software, and by now there's several different products that can do this. In the company I work we've done a few of this applications, mainly for Fairs and Exhibitions. I only manage the 3D part of the process, but I know that our partner has used an Adobe Flash library to create them. I cannot give you a more advanced explanation of how it works (mainly 'cause I don't how to do it in english hehe), but here's a link you can see to get a grip on it. http://active.tutsplus.com/tutorials...ented-reality/ Hope it helps

I thought 1/1/1 sounds better than 1/1/0..... kidding and also apologize of those who were serious about the date. as I usually don't follow such things (don't watch TV, and don't read even one word of those ... newspapers, Despite my father!) so I am still not sure that what was or is the right time for end of the world.... my stupidity, but think that they are almost 99% DEAD information...based on "decisions" from past, token by some (wiered or normal,.... mainly politicans) people

Great to see such talent with such sophistication. Young talent is cool, check out this kid, I know the clip looks like it was shot with an aubergine, but nobody knows how this unedited version got out only an hour from being shot. There is edited versions of Jack vidgen on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLkb7UcUcz8

I'm thinking of giving you 1,000,000 to 1 odds that the world will end later today. If I did could you place the bet immediately? If you win the bet and the world is no more, what address will I send your winnings to? Mike

Well . .. just in case the world does end tomorrow. . . (I can see the flaming asteroid out of my window as we speak) I didn't want to let these last few moments get a way from me without wishing all of my SketchUcation friends a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Hrm...perhaps not traditional easter eggs but lots of little things going on and added bits that you probably wouldn't catch right away. The Hollywood spotlights are animated, for example. And you'll find a teddy bear in the trolley. Also, many of the objects have some meaning related to the Transbay Transit Center which is why the Golden Gate bridge, Hollywood, and some other regional places are included. -Brodie
