What to get your dog for Christmas?

keeps them busy.
Sometimes we run one dog at time with a bike. The other dog is going nuts waiting. We just throw kibbles in the grass. One of them, our chow hound, will search forever looking for the last kibble.

They love using their nose and sniffing out stuff. A bit like us figuring our a puzzle!

Sadie already got a look at her new squeak bunny chew toy by accident. She has been returning to the site of her viewing every day since. Patience young one.

OH, I didn't even watch the Video. That was exactly their inspiration...

Dogs like to hunt for food, its natural for them and entertains them. The device also stops them from gulping the food down.
I also saw a device today for folks with more than one cat. The idea is an an autofeeder activates via a radio transmitter around the cat's neck. Seemingly it stops the alpha cat getting 'cornering' all the food. I don't have cats but believe the alpha can be this way.
I have experienced something similar with two dogs I had some time back. They were sibling golden cockers, a bitch (Ginger) and male (Fred). When I placed both food bowls down Ginger would not allow Fred to eat until she had finish hers and often some of his. It was amusing to watch as Ginger was way smaller than Fred, a big softy. Eventually I found a good home for Ginger and enjoyed Fred's company for many years before he died of cancer. I imagine he didn't miss Ginger one bit. My wife also thinks Ginger put Fred 'off' females ..... I won't go into why she thought this ...... that's another story

Herakles (our dog, no, we didn't gave him his name) was a stray for 7 years. Still searching for food when we have a walk. He performs the perfect heeling, I let him walking free, always. The best, the cleverer dog I had. He is 9 now.
They become parts of our lives, we never forget them.

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place. But you guys seem to know a lot about dogs. I was cleaning out Toby's kennel the other day and found this under his mattress.
should i broach the subject with him or just put it back under the mattress and pretend I did not see it.
