Ta folks, it is the ai thing.

My design, mea culpa. Similar in concept to the hotrod I did some yonks ago but oriented towards track days.

Working on a studio setup for Rayscaper so hopefully some renders then.

Thanks for the comments. The cars, btw, are from FormFonts; the people from Poser.

Ray, it always helps to get a fresh set of eyes looking at things, thanx. I agree, it does seem somewhat sterile. However, most clients don't want to see "messy reality" (sadly, where this building is that would include the homeless). In fact, we "removed" a rather ugly utility pole in front of the building. One thing that would help are the road textures (too clean), but haven't been able to master mixed materials in Vue yet. Maybe a few more people?

    Thanks Dylan.

Tina, the 'pot' is actually a huge old metal cauldron that's onsite.

Thanks. the Padauk is mine. Edited from something else but I don't recall what. The Wenge is from a pretty good photo of it. The QWSO was from an image I found with a Google search but it was made usable by our very own Modelhead and in a thread in the Materials forum.

    Thanks Baker,

What do I think! I think you might consider changing the texture as it looks a bit repetitive, maybe increase the scale of the texture?

LAPX : the exterior render took around an hour at PM+FG med settings on 4 cores... original size at 1280x1024... 😲
the interior render at the same res as the outdoor render took 2.39 hours at pm+fg FINE settings on 4 cores! πŸ˜‰

Looks good Ricardo. The only thing that really bothers me is the wall texture on the left - it appears the texture isn't tiling well, and producing a horizontal line near the top of the artwork. The only other thing I would suggest is add a magazine or two (or something) on the coffee table to give it that "lived-in" look.

    Brothers, and Sisters,

    MS is pure inspiration.

I've got this whole awesome deal -- time consuming, and of course powerful, but what the Jack bird is new about that?

    @sketchy said:

I am assuming that what is in color is what is being remodeled

    exactly, sketchy.

thanks, tina. this way of presenting my ideas is an attempt at being coherent with the architecture i do, which tries to employ as few elements as possible to solve a problem.

    Thanks everyone πŸ˜„

I've been out of town for a couple of weeks. Trying to get back on track only to leave again. At least the next trip will be sort of a vacation πŸ˜„

    I'm looking forward to it.

    Thanks again!!
