OK, I can see! How about some windows in the kitchen or at least some lights somewhere over there.

First I think the sky works with the lighting. The original photo has a lone cloud that look odd so the new is better and a bit warmer. About the cropping of the image it looks like it need more at the bottom. With the perspektive of the house it just doesnt look right the way it is. The trees look very 3d to me. I dont know if they are but I think that if you should add trees you should use photographic trees that looks more real. Finally, what is this? Is it the customers factory? And why have trees in the image if they are not there in reality? A final thought, I think the image could need some kind of focuspoint and live item. Maybe a bird flying by or people having lunchbreak or something...

Thanks Richard, I will see if the shadow filter helps. I generally use photoshops levels and curves for adjusting tone. Then I'll often use an Alien Skin plugin called Exposure 2 (http://www.alienskin.com/exposure/) to adjust all my exposure and saturation settings. It's a great plugin if you ever get a chance to check it out. I'm also wondering if I should adjust my Vray settings so that I can switch on the SRGB toggle, as I've heard this will be more true to a monitors color range. Foxar, My card is a NVidia 9500GS. I'll have to look into adjusting it through their software. My monitor is an LG Flatron 22" with a 10000:1 fine contrast ratio. Everything else appears normal when I browse or look at other people's work on my monitor. Is there a way to self calibrate?

Andy, Do you know the work of Iakov Chernikhov (Tchernikhov)? I can't find his works online that this reminds me of, but you obviously tap into a similar inspiration. I have a book with many of his images of similar themes, although your graphic style here is different. Look forward to more. Peter
