I agree with all previous comments, but I would also shorten the road and footpath to the grass line, or vice-versa because it looks like it could be the roof of the building from which the snapshot has been taken. I like it though. Some bump on the walls would help to. And maybe a tree on this side of the house to break the big plain wall.

@remus said: Does it slow down the render much? i imagine you add quite a few polys... yes, it slows down the render , but not too much . in fact it doesnt affect rendering , but antialiasing time became much more than when i wasn't using proxies. so i guess a preset that uses unbiased method (like preset no 20 ) will work better whit this scene.

I just discovered this thread... You are the master of Light! Lighting looks so natural in all clips. So vray and indigo can render Morisdov's "proper animation"? The real problem with SketchUp animations is that SU connects cameras with straight lines instead of splines. Can any smustard script help with this? Perhaps anything in the presentation bundle 2? http://www.smustard.com/script/PresentationBundle2

For product (studio) renders I would use a Diffuse HDRI Something like what is attached (just drop the .txt at the end). You can mess with the base color in PS to get it to where you want it. The thing with studio renders it you only want there to be light artificial light sources (typically). Very rarely would you use an exterior environment. Some of that is personal preference though. Good HDRI's are not cheap or small in file size so beware. What version of Hypershot are you using? Make sure you have the most recent as there have been some changes. Scott room diffuse.hdr.txt

Try messing with the camera angle. That can tend to make things look bigger or smaller. Scott

@hfm said: @unknownuser said: Errr ... not me. A dirty mind is a joy forever. Thank God, I'm not alone OT: is it meant not to be a circle? Or is it that you don't know how to add more sides to a circle in SU holding the design back? I got lazy, if anyone is interested I used this pic as a reference http://musicalstewdaily.files.wordpress.com/2009/03/pink_floyd_-_dark_side_of_the_moon.jpg

I think it might work better if the side of the house is rendered a slightly different shade to the front. Also maybe if you limit the canvas effect and add a gaussian blur on an adjustment layer it will look more natural. edit, I have had a play, but this doesn't really achieve it, I think you need to start with the original exported image.
