thanks for good words @tomsdesk: do you know Herzog and De Meuron's Rudin House (http://bi.gazeta.pl/im/2/6128/z6128332X.jpg), it's my inspiration. On the roof just should be some kind of gap for interior gutters.

Hi, it looks good although a little too much blue on my monitor. Also maybe worth trying some more interior light as it seems a little dull in the room with just the exterior light coming thru that window.

Bump looks good. Lights look good. Barcelona chairs look good. I agree with Oli on the verticals. Straighten out the camera a little. Also the purple color bleed takes away from the image.

Reminds me of a Far Side comic punchline: "How Mother Nature says 'Do not touch!'"

As Marcus stated, the wood texture on the cabinets is not working; try Arroway Textures - they have some free, high resolution wood textures (you might find a better one for the floor, too). On a design note, anyone sitting at those stools will bang their legs/feet against the contents of those open shelves below. You might want to consider increasing the counter overhang to provide more leg room.

yeah stefan...keep pushing this. DOF effects are great and often a challenge to accomplish in vray. Have any of you ever tried using photoshop plugins like "Alien Skin" software to get your DOF effects....I am looking more and more into it, but i dont know if i am sold on it yet. And Pete, im with stefan on this one and anxious to see some of your vray work as well. I havent been around on the forums as much as I would like to lately so I hope learning the software is working out well for you. Keep up the good work stefan.

Hi Earthmover.- I'd saw the post baout hypershot you wrote and it seems very interesting. I just arrive to this program and I'm testing it really excited. I only had get the 32 bits program, even having asked to the Company for the trial in 32 bits, but they weren't ansewer me yet. I use a Dell Precision M6400 with quadcore and 16 Gb Ram, but can't use all the power. Did you have the 64 bits version? could you support me? jann

Hi Everybody, I had the same thing with Vue. Downloaded it once but the interface was so confusing in relation to sketchup and let's say Kerkythea, that I didn't try to make a decent render. But when I recently saw some Tutorials at Geek at Play http://www.geekatplay.com/tutorials.php I started to dive into it. Siolo gave me some good pointers. I used Vue 8 Xstream and the render didn't took very long. Thing about 1 hour. Materials are done in SU and most are from CG textures. Hope to post more Vue renders soon. Greetz frm Holland
