Ok, file size: just over 1MB (but not finished yet)
the meshlab thing, don't know how it works, it cant use .skp
the model info>statistics in sketchup says
(show nested components: unticked) = Faces 90
(show nested components: ticked) = Faces 51646

But faces aren't polys, so oh well. πŸ˜„

      Hello!
I was browsing through the Gallery and found someone had done a beautiful , high detail opera house. It inspired me to design my own palace:

And I don't see the point on spending money for cars for instance - because I do not need it. Other folks still find cars useful and I don1t argue, for them cars may be useful.

Everyone spends money on what he needs (or wishes).

      But that's why it's "I". I couldn't buy a car anyway, i'm 13 πŸ˜„

Thanks, that's not how i make planes so it took me ages, and then i had forgotten to round all the rib's corner's, and i made a LOT to many ribs. Thanks, and now that I know the amount of time it takes just to make those silly ribs, I admire your work more!

Thanks for the extrude edges plugin! I don't see the point of spending money on plugins though, although s&s is amazing.

    • Savin time whilst making meshes

      Hello,
I can make quite complex aircraft but they take a huge amount of time. I usually use 2-view to get top and side view of something, then i trace it all with bezier curves (which x1000 the polys, but looks good). Then i scale a semi-sphere to match both the top view and side view. Every few millimetres i have to push/pull, scale, orbit, scale, pan, and redo that. The amount of time is massive that is needed. Is there anyway i can do this in quick? Like, for example, with the follow me tool? This method of making things with the scaling might sound like garbage to you, but I discovered it for myself, nobody taught me, and till now I am very happy with it. If you don't get what I mean, please tell me, I will explain further and look for pics i posted in a different forum in my tutorial on how to model a plane.

      Thanks loads,
