Why not make a few assorted RevClouds in a SKP. White background, plan view etc Make a new empty Layout file and add them to it [copy+paste]. Explode them [into images]. Then save those into a custom Scrapbook [named RevClouds?] and use that in any Layout file as needed - resizing/scaling them etc as desired... They'll have a transparent ground and overlay if brought to front etc - layer than as desired too... Of course you could make your own. entirely within Layout...

Yeah I feel so sorry for the tech support guys in work, they deal with this and worse all the time haha I feel bad when I ring up and have an actual problem such as server problems etc that I cant do myself and they are so busy telling people how to restart the system etc haha

Awhile back, I noticed some quirky behaviour when trying to use innerHTML (on PC with IE7.) I think I switched to using innerText instead and that worked. If you are not actually inserting any HTML tags within the target element, I would say use innerText instead. I have not tested this yet since I upgraded to IE8, (and forget now even what it was I was working on, when I had the problems.) Anyway... FYI, just a note on innerText vs innerHTML.

However, please note that this plugin has never supported .JPEG files - but it does support .JPG... All of the file extensions it does support use the 'standard' .123 naming convention. This comes about because earlier versions of Windows required an extension of 3 or fewer characters - although now things are more relaxed - so PC users normally expect/use .JPG - which is the shortened Windows form of .JPEG... They are the same type of file with different suffixes. You can do a simple edit on the code in plugin's .RB file [which it puts in your Plugins folder], to include any additional extension type [provided that it is acceptable to SketchUp when importing]. The .RB file's code has not been signed so you won't break anything when you edit it, provided that you use a plain text-editor on the file [like TextWrangler]...

I think this is RADICAL! This is the missing link or missing native tool. It's another push-pull / follow-me function. This obviates the need for many typical "intersection" applications (eg. roof constructions and rake walls). Just pick some roof lines (hip or gable) and run them into adjacent roofs and walls. A dormer is made from the 2d elevation. DesignWorkshop had a similar feature long ago, with some other tweaks for components. I think it only went in the Z direction though. I'm going to have this tool out and ready to use. Should be fun. Thanks TIG!
