Hello, I have started on my next book and I thought I would post the opening pages. (since I don't make any money on these things...hopefully someday.) The current books are here for free download. http://www.bridgerobots.com The new book with a working title of "The Curse of the Golden bridge" is located here. Large file http://www.bridgerobots.com/books/Book%20four%20files.pdf The books online are pdf files and the best way to view them is full screen or ideally on an ipad. (The books are made for ipads.) If you like them buy a book from amazon (links on website) and that will pay for a coffee for me. (Yay!) Let me know what you think! Stuart [image: FwpZ_BBRsnowgiants.jpg]

Hi Stuart, will you be printing Dudley all in one piece, or do you want him to move? If you want him articulated, printing the pieces separately and snapping them together like a ball jointed robot afterwards is recommended, because the clearances needed to print a moving assembly in one go will leave the joints loose and sloppy. You will want all the parts in one group of you mean to print him in one piece. I wouldn't explode everything though, or you'll end up with a non-solid mess. It's usually better to make the individual groups solid and then use the Outer Shell tool to combine them into one solid group. If I were you, I'd make this model one piece first to get a feel for the process, and then if you want to mess around with clearances for joints and assembling pieces, make another model. Just an idea.

@tallbridgeguy said: Hi, is there an easy way to place 3d text so it faces forward (toward the viewer like normal text on a page)in the current view? I have different scenes at different view angles and I would like to place 3d text in each view without having to place it and then try to guess the angle to rotate it to get it straight in my scene. (Like typing over an image?) Thanks! s Plugin had a coding error and had been removed.

Curious of if you figured out how to do that. That process could make a lot of things possible. I've been looking for alternate ways to render sketchyphysics and seriously, good luck.
