I'm just thinking outside the realm of SketchUp. What would a good program for this question be other than SketchUp?

Also, when I was trying to add a motion blur to the propeller in the last shot it didn't work out, so if anyone could help it would be much appreciated.

The fact that you are doing it as a side job or as a hobby means you should be charging more not less. YOu can pick and choose what projects you take on.

Even still, don't debase yourself or the profession. People will value you only if you value yourself. Provide a good product, Charge a fair rate based on the market and the clients will come.

Reminds me a little of that VOyager-inspired apartment some guy in the UK built a year or two ago!

Honestly I think the render is not bad. Its got a good feel to it, the glow is working pretty well.

I don't care for the design much. So its hard to vote above. I don't want to vote high, because I don't like it overall. But its not fair to vote too low (for me) because the render itself is actually pretty good.

So I give the render a god mark, the model itself a low mark.
