I have recently begun modeling a cell block of Alcatraz. I am mostly done modeling, and texturing is also finished with a few possible changes possible. My renders so far have probably come out a little to dark. Comments and Questions Very Welcome!

Looks good so far, but where's the escape tunnel?

What's the purpose of your project? Is the final render gonna be gritty and grimy with some nice textured tiles etc?

I'm interested to see final render so keep posting

I decided to texture the model with a more grimy look. There is not really any purpose for my project, I am Just doing it for fun. Thanks for the comment

              Very, very good!
Perhaps some lights out the cell, and some bump in the textures could be great!
              Congrats!

It's looking very impressive so far, you should do a tutorial on it for novice Render Users.

Which Render program are you using anyway?

Thanks for the comment Rich, as for my rendering software, I used v-ray for every one except the last one. For the last one I rendered it in Kerkythea, and added a glow effect in Paint.net. I would consider myself far from a master at rendering, but if people show intrest in a basic tutorial I will give it a shot, but I need to Know what types of things people want, would you just want a step by step tutorial on what I did for this particular model and render?
                  -Thanks

The reason i ask about a tutorial is because it'd be interesting to see what setting you used etc. As I'm some who is struggling to get to grips with VR, and there's very little out there that caters for beginners, i find that a detailed step by step approach to show how someone progresses through a project would benefit the noobs greatly. I've done the PDF manual that is on the VR website but find that it is limited in its approach and spends a lot explaining the simple things rather than how to apply settings to get desired effect!

But that said i have been called a dumb ass in the past and maybe rendering isn't for me????????

I only have the trial version of V-ray, and all I did for my renders is hit the render button. I am more experienced with Kerkythea. If you have any specific questions I would be glad to attempt to answer them.

Nice Views of "The Rock" ,"The Big House" ,the Graybar Hotel", the "Slammer"

In fact I can hear Nicolas Cage Saying Now "Id take Pleasure in Guttin' you. .. BOY!" (name the movie!)

If I make it look easy...It is probably easy
