Hi, I found another bug related to this. I am based in Japan so my normal geolocation setting give me a UTC +9 in the shadows panel. If I set this, save the model, close it, open it up again, I get a UTC -7 setting there. After, if I change to X-ray or other view style, it will go back to the correct +9. This is quite dangerous because if I don't change it back and run a script that uses this info, it will give completely wrong results. Please consider, best regards

It will probably be incorporated in the next major release. Historically that would typically be the time they'd make that sort of change. As for what they will do, those who know for sure aren't permitted to talk about it. It'll come when it comes.

Unfortunately we here are like you, with no direct knowledge of the dev-team's work. It appears that it's a longstanding issue, but there is now an official bug-report lodged... Although I just checked up on it and no one from the dev-team has looked at it yet, and there's another report about something else ahead of it in the queue too ! So I don't expect an announcement of a fix anytime soon...

About changing the size of the triangles: I already used the add detail tool to increase the number of triangles, but what I meant (sorry if I couldn't be clear the first time) is: is there a setting or a technique to choose freely the size of the triangles composing said mesh when I get it from Google Earth?
