@tig said: You need to do Extension Warehouse licensing through SketchUp. But for SketchUcation Licensing you can manage [release/activate] your licenses with the dialog that opens from the MyLicenses item in the Extensions > SketchUcation submenu You need the latest version of SketchUcation tools and the extensions/libs etc installing beforehand and restart SketchUp to sync thing, before trying to do any license management. Splendid, thank you very much TIG. In this case there is a huge advantage, I see using SketchUcation resources over Extension Warehouse. I thought only a few extensions could be unlicencing via Sketchucation Tool as suggested. Once more many thanks TIG

@frederik said: What version are you running?? The only installed version of Su i 2020 Pro. No other version has been installed. I have been trying to install the very LAST version of SU 2021 (1.1 freshly downloaded). Thus this is a very bizarre message concerning the later version has been installed. This not the case. And YES - I run the installation of SU 2021.1.1 as admin (right mouse button). [image: Screenshot-2021-09-12-121625.png]

@tig said: Did you try it ? Did it help ? Hullo again, I am not certain but just now I have discovered that Fredo6 Scale Launcher (icon clicked) does nothing. The tools/functions are accessible via the menu. All other Fredo6 Lunchers work fine. Once clicking the toolbars open. I think it is related to the changes I have made in registry following the recommendations here. PS 1 Alas it seems that this is not the culprit. I have removed the registry entries ninth no impact - still no Fredo6 Scale Luncher. PS 2 I have just checked another computer with SU 20.0.373 version. Fredo6 Scale Launcher works fine there. Would it be Su update to the latest 20.1 version the source of the dysfunctionality?

As far as background objects go, would it work for you to create a group and do your work on a face within the group and "hide rest of model" selected?

@tig said: If you have just two Plugins loaded in the Manager when SketchUp restarts there will still be just those two Plugins loaded. The Plugins Manager lets you load/disable any Plugins you choose. Because of limitations in the way SketchUp loads Plugins you can't dynamically disable them - they will stay loaded during that session. However, if you disable a Plugin and restart SketchUp, then that disabled Plugin will not load at startup. But of course you can choose to use the Manager to load selected Plugins during a session. The orange button does a 'temporary load' - that is it loads just for that session, and when SketchUp restarts it is disabled once again... You can select multiple Plugins in one go, for loading/disabling/temporarily-loading by clicking on them in the appropriate column in the dialog - holding the +Ctrl key to pick them one-by-one, or holding +Shift key and clicking on the first and the last the selected ones, this is just like any other Windows app... Then you click the appropriate button [RGO] they'll move column and be re-colored to indicate what's just been changed... If you pick some items wrongly you can simply re-click them to remove them from the selected ones before clicking the button. If you've already moved them into another column you can move them back by highlighting them in that column and moving them across in the correct column... Please get to understand how the load/disable/temporarily-load [GRO] buttons work on selected entries in the loaded and disabled columns... Sets are an additional way of remembering your preferred collections of Plugins - for use during your different work-stages etc. Look at using those once you are comfortable with the manual operation... As explained, enabling manually or by 'set' is immediate, but disabling manually or by 'set' will require a SketchUp restart to complete the process. Splendid. I do thank you. Now its clear for me how to deal with the set features.

@dave r said: @pipinek said: Alas it does not work AT ALL! I have removed/deinstalled some some paid plugins from one of my machines via Extension Manager and they are STILL are marked as active in Extension Warehouse. There is no option now, as previously in Ext. Warehouse to uninstall them. Only the option INSTALL is available. HOW ON EARTH ONE CAN DEACTIVATE paid plugins? Thank you in advance. Uninstall is found in the Extension Manager. [attachment=0:1c7l5gp0]<!-- ia0 -->Screenshot - 3_16_2020 , 7_36_28 PM.png<!-- ia0 -->[/attachment:1c7l5gp0] After uninstalling from the previous version, you should be able to go to the extension in the Extension Warehouse in the new version and click Install. I do thank you very much. The problem is, after uninstalling the plugin via (as shown on the picture) it is not freed-up in Ext. Warehouse. Thus cannot licence it. I have been trying to uninstall some plugins on the older machine and then trasfer them to the new one. The max number of licence has been still marked as 3/3.

@pipinek said: @gilles said: A quick method.... Note that you may have to modify camera angle and the distance of the POV to see all the "reflection". Merci beaucoup Gilles, c’est exactement ce dont j’ai besoin. I will digest it and make some exercises. The effect is really satisfying. At least this virtual one above. I you do not mind I will far probably allow myself to contact you for, eventually some precision and of course proudly show you the final result of my work within SU. You have mentioned at the beginning that this has been a quick way, what should be the 'slow' one? Is it possible to reduce a distance between the facade and the most far point of its projection on the horizontal surface in front of it, I mean the highest point project of the elevation? You have advised to use 0.001 scale factor, what if I use meters as units? I am really thankful for your elucidation such well illustrated, explained. I wrote " A quick method:" because it's fast. Scale as nothing to do with units, 0.001 is 1/1000 whatever the unit just to see the face and being able to manipulate it without over zooming. "Is it possible to reduce a distance between the facade and the most far point of its projection on the horizontal surface in front of it, I mean the highest point project of the elevation?" I set the Point Of View to see everything on the screen, but in reality do not forget that your eyes are not static and you can reduce the distance between the facade an the POV but what will you see on the screen? Experiment then feedback. Note: I won't have internet for a week, take your time. Happy new year.

Thank You cery much TIG. Kaspersky setting is so complex. Happily I have found that Application Control has had a control on blocking Sketchup functions. Bizarre enough Sketchup.exe has been fully allowed. Finally I have removed all Sketchup presence from Kadpersky list and activated App Control within Kaspersky and...I think I have managed to fix the mysterious blocking. Once more thank you for your taking precious time dropping a line here. My best regards.
