RE: Internet Radio
There are some really interesting and customised web radio services like http://musicovery.com/ but what I would really like to know is whether or not it is legal to record streaming Internet radio.
Would it be illegal to record copyrighted materials for personal use? I assume that distributing copyrighted materials, on the other hand, does constitute copyright infringement and is illegal. -
RE: Asterix
So do you just join those separate parts or do you intersect them and fix the geometry afterwards using Artisan´s smooth brush?

What are other options? ... To use artisan plugin? SU isn't a sculpting tool, better use it to set up a scene and fill it with sculpts.
Nice to see you are still keeping up the good work, michalis!
And your Artisan avatar -

that the King Tiger (for example) has tires covering the wheels, to help reduce some of the bumps.
To the best of my knowledge, Kingtiger did not have rubber tyred wheels, they used 'Gummigefederten Stahllaufrollen' or steel tyred wheels with internal rubber cushioning.
It was early production Tiger Is that were fitted with dished steel wheels with rubber tires. -
RE: Pipes
Not an inbuilt SU tool, but worth checking out in any case : http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=323&t=12354&hilit=plugin

Cool, shareck, excellent job as usual
Some zimmerit would be niceYou know that UV unwraping does'nt exist in SU and using other applications is limited or difficult.
I have noticed that. However, it didn´t stop you from doing a really nice ambush scheme on that Königstiger
Anyway, I did not mean to criticize your work. Once again, excellent job. -

RE: Chesterfield sofa
Something like this: http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=335&t=34736 ?
No buttons however, but adding them would be the easy part
Note that SDS ( now Artisan ) is not free, but it´s worth buying in any case.
A limited, although free version of a subdivision plugin for Google SketchUp can be found here: http://www.smustard.com/script/Subdivide -

That would make a great "render this" challenge indeed.
