RE: Are RP Tools available free?
I think not. But there is a 30 day trial version.

RE: Stability and speed isues with large files
Hi,
If I understand it correctly, when you are rendering inside SU ( which is a 32-bit app ), you are limited to 32-bit address space, even if you have 64-bit OS. If your file size is great enough, only feasible option is to use an external renderer, or to use a 3rd party app to compile a scene when SU is overloaded. Then you can benefit truly from 64-bit processes. -

you don't need a plugin for the tubing though - use followme tool
Maybe not. But I would definitely recommed using it when it comes to this, for instance:

RE: Tent modeling
That image really doesn´t show much.
For tubing you can use this: http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=180&t=12354&p=88592#p88592
Tube Along Path and Pipe Along Path will accomplish that also, if that is what you are after. -
RE: Ivy Cottage...
At first glance, I thought it was the Ivy Generator you have used - a brilliant solution and a brilliant result!
TBH I have seen far less convincing results with the above mention software ( should I have an eye exam or not, I don´t know ) Quite a sight for sore eyes - just what I need after all those OBL stuff. It makes my brain hurt -
RE: How to make video with the render
Hi, temraz
Rendering animations? You could try Twilight render http://www.twilightrender.com/
You´ll find some useful info on creating walkthroughs in this thread, if that is what you had in mind: http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=80&t=22831&hilit=rendered+walkthroughs
SimLab Composer 2.2 can do walkthroughs and animations also: http://www.simlab-soft.com/3d-products/simlab-composer-main.aspx -

RE: Create a new style with cool effect ! anyone?
Hi,
I´m not sure what new style do you have in mind. Importing SU models into a game? Making your own maps?
I´m sure SketchUp has been used for creating basic geometry in Far Cry development, but don´t take my word for it.
Anyway, this might interest you:

RE: Can sketch up be imported to alias?
Autodesk Alias?
It can import .obj files as far as I can remember. -
RE: Race Focke
It surely does.
You really like those racing planes - Bearcat, Fw190... what´s next? -
RE: Requested Tutorial
Hi,
There are some tutorials on Dave´s blog: http://www.finewoodworking.com/item/31103/sketchup-8-pro-a-look-at-some-of-the-solid-tools

RE: Al's Organics
Awesome work! The art of low poly modeling at its best!
As Antoine de Saint-Exupery once said: A designer knows he has achieved perfection not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.
