The image shows three separate corner configurations. Why not use the power of components to your advantage and make three corner connectors. Given the fact the component definition is invariant under move, scale and rotation you should be able to use these in a number of different loactions without the intersection etc each time??

A couple of notes on dimensioning / labeling, and connections (things that stick to models or images): You cannot make a connection where the item your dimensioning / labeling OR the dimension / label is on a shared layer. We found this to be a source of crashes (and those of you who've sent me corrupt files, a lot of times this is what I was fixing in your files, what could have been a result of this). In LayOut 3, if you do this, save and close your file and open it back up, the connection will be broken. If your dimension is on a shared layer, it will NOT get model space measurements (only paper space measurements) in addition to not sticking to the model. One of you asked me offline "how do I even get shared layers?" Our templates put them in there, so you can create borders and page stylings on every page. You can also create them by clicking on the icon in the Layers panel that toggles between one piece of paper and a stack of papers (items on this layer on one page OR on every page). We like to make things simple and subtle, but sometimes the subtlety needs a bit of explanation. b

Hi, I understand that you're experiencing an issue with the backgrounds of your imported models in LO (Layout). Normally, when you import models from SketchUp into LO as viewports, the background is transparent. However, recently you've noticed that the backgrounds appear white instead of transparent, and you're seeking an explanation and a solution to this problem. There could be a few reasons why this is happening. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try: Check the model settings: In SketchUp, ensure that the background of your model is set to white and not transparent. You can do this by going to "Window > Styles" and adjusting the background settings in the active style. Verify LO viewport settings: In LO, select the viewport containing the imported SketchUp model and open the SketchUp Model dialog. Make sure that the "Background" option is unchecked. Check LO document settings: Go to "File > Document Setup > Paper" and ensure that the "Background" color is set to transparent. Also, verify that the "Use document's paper color" option is enabled. Update LO and SketchUp: Ensure that both LO and SketchUp are up to date with the latest versions. Sometimes, software updates address bugs or compatibility issues that could be causing the problem. If the issue persists after trying these steps, you may want to reach out to the official support channels for Layout or SketchUp. They will be able to provide you with more specific guidance and assistance based on your software versions and system setup. I hope this helps resolve the issue you're facing. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask. Best regards! Contact: Khuong Tieu My - đá gà trực tiếp thomo hôm nay

@gaieus said: To my best knowledge, you cannot do this. Paper size (and orientation) is a document level setting and you cannot change them at page level. I have seen "requests" for the same but with paper sizes. You could, however, rotate your shape in SU and fit it into a landscape paper... Thanks Gai, much appreciated, frustrating though.

@click draw said: Can anyone provide any testimonial for this Ivy Generator? I have downloaded so many programs that don't live up to the expectations of the software provider. No disrespect intended. Does this work well with Sketchup or is it kind of hit and miss? Thanks, Jeff Ivy Generator is good, but not for SU. Too high poly. Naturally if you import the generated ivy directly to your rendering app, it should be fine too. But then you most likely will need a external renderer, I am not sure if any renderer running in context of SU, can handle links to external files...

People here would surely appreciate the latter! Indeed, my sentiments exactly. I recently had a tour around Fountains Abbey http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fountains_Abbey near to my home. It was incredible the amount of stuff regarding monastic architecture and the monastic way of life that i "knew" as the tour guide was telling us, all of it from POTE and a bit of light reading around the subject after reading Follet. Brilliant stuff!

Your quite right, and the man who made the goal should normally send off before he could score. But when the dutch player Robben his greatest chances (twice) on this tournament bring too good end, then we where the winners. But the referee had to make mistake right from his first game (Spain-Switserland). It is normal on such a tournament that you never get the same referee twice. This rule is not handed this year and that is why the dutch complain.

I guess the very problem here is how to take those photos to create the correct texture in the first place.
