When you installed SketchUp/LayOut 2019, did you right click on the installer and choose Run as administrator? If not or you aren't sure, quit out of both SketchUp and LayOut, find the installer (Downloads folder?) right click on it and choose Run as administrator from the Context menu. Then when presented with the option, choose Repair. Make sure you have logged into Windows under your normal user, not as the system administrator. @unknownuser said: Also, is there some quick way to migrate my workspace from 2018 to 2019, so I don't have to position every icon manually? Unfortunately not at this time. It is a feature that has been requested, though. Perhaps in an upcoming version we'll see it. When I get ready to migrate to a new version (I've done it 19 times and on multiple computers) I make screen shots of the entire workspace of the previous version for both SketchUp and LayOut so I can see where all the toolbars are located. Then I import the screen shot into the new version so I can refer to it while setting up the new version. As Juju implied, do not copy extensions from a previous version into your new version. Install them fresh from their sources.

I just tested it with a model made in SU2016. It worked just fine for me. After saving the file and quitting SketchUp, I reopened it and the info was still present.

I don't think anyone is going to go through that effort to make a tutorial for you. But you should turn on swarm option in your render settings, install V-Ray Swarm on your other computer(s), run it, make sure all computers are connected to same network, hit render. That's the basics, but there could be many different issues, try and see. Write if you run into a specific problem.

Oh God! Such an idiot. I'm going to kill myself. And I've been painting and repainting, exploding and grouping for like 40 minutes. I feel like such a fool now. And I'll post in v6 from now on, update my profile etc. Thanks Box, thanks Pilou.

Hi kimi kimi, I'm researching this topic for quite some time now but haven't installed one yet. So take my responses according to that First of all i strongly recommend reading this Guide to GPU Rendering by Chaos Group. From background reasons to rendering advices, it's a great article (It's for 3ds Max but general idea applies for everything). Half of your answers awating you there. 1- Check this manual for Supported Features in Interactive Rendering in V-ray for SketchUp. 2- They're all technically gaming cards, aren't they? And i don't think there is a specific one for Sketchup + V-ray combination. You can check this website for GPU or CPU comparisons: http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/ . There are lots of useful charts to examine. Another benchmark result for GPUs from Furryball. Also check this website for helpful articles: http://www.gpurendering.com/ 3- I think yes, it works. 4- 5- 6- no idea 7- SSD makes them load faster just before render for sure but i doubt you'll have enough space for all the resources from various works (You can use SSD only for resource heavy works maybe). You need to decide whether that load time is on your list of priorities or not. 8- I would like to hear as well

Hi. That plugin also appears in the Sketchucation Plugin Store by the late Honoluludesktop. I salute his memory.

Yeah, it's not going to work the same way... but you can still create keyboard shortcuts for frequently used tools. Myself I have 3 screens and I'm in love with toolbars. I want a toolbar for everything... EVERYTHING!
