I decided to test this new feature for SketchUp 2018 where you can supposedly attach price info, size info, web links etc. to components, but there is a problem. If I try it on components built in previous versions, it just forgets it right away, doesn't even apply the info. I tried a few old models, click on window, expand advanced attributes in entity info, add data, deselect it, select it again, nothing, empty! Did anyone else notice this? There is a workaround when I nest another component inside, type data right away, then explode all instances of old component and that works. But I have hundreds of windows and doors, it's a problem when things get complex.

I just tested it with a model made in SU2016. It worked just fine for me. After saving the file and quitting SketchUp, I reopened it and the info was still present.
