I don't know what I changed but I'm suddenly getting like beveled offset when using Joint Push Pull. Just the regular Joint Push Pull.

@Mike-Amos I actually did a "what's that?" when I first saw "the banana" on the floor.
@Rich-O-Brien Groovy, man. Nice. How did you make the tassels?
@L-i-am I saw something like that font when I did a quick search for 50s and 60s fonts. Timberwolf regular?
Plastic models used to be all the rage back when I was a kid. I sort of lost track in my 20s. But back when there were hobby shops as well as departments stores and even drugs stores that would sell plastic model kits.
Monogram and Revell kits were the most popular. Especially car models. They would also sell model paint and glue which was usually Testors. 3 bucks or 5 bucks for a kit. Which of course when you're a kid that was usually above your budget unless you go begging your dad for a couple of dollars.
RC models are still rather popular. Model railroading was also another trend back when. Lionel 0 gauge trains are very pricey. The RC stuff you'd have to go to a hobby shop but they used to sell model railroading gear in department stores as well.
Trends change I guess. Building things is no longer popular. Even back then your dad might have gotten into Heathkit to learn electronics. We'd build go-karts out of scrap wood and metal parts your dad might have been hoarding.
Thanks Mike, Rich.
That's the original Sketchup EMD SD-45 model which I imported into D5 and exported as an asset.
Did some mods.

Messing around with more twin-t construction. I wanted to make this a hobby shop but can't find the appropriate assets. Don't really feel like making it from scratch. Storefront is probably too upscale for this use.

@tuna1957 Thanks. Back in the day they would pay good money for a rendering like this. Now you can get something like this from Laos for $150. Soon that will be gone too.
This is an evolution of that last glass structure I designed. Twin-t floors. Too much glass but there it is. Too much glass in high rises = bird killers. Not good.
I wouldn't want to live here. When I was younger I was curious about city living. Today is no longer the case. I think high density housing is awful.
So here's this rendering. Soon to be replaced by plastic AI renderings. The cost of living continues to climb. Even renting a stupid apartment is far too costly. It's the American dream!

I cleaned everything again and even after two factor authentication I got this:
"If this was you, you wonât be able to access certain security and account settings for a few days. You can still access these settings from a device youâve logged in with in the past."
Makes no sense. Guess I have to stop using Instagram.
@Dave-R Dave, yes. I just get a blank pop-up in the tab. I tried clearing everything. I got this weird message when I signed in the first time before I noticed this.
"If this was you, you wonât be able to access certain security and account settings for a few days. You can still access these settings from a device youâve logged in with in the past."
It's the same device. I've since applied two factor authentication with my phone number. Nothing changed. Been waiting. Every one else's posts act normally.
Speaking of computer related things breaking. Can anyone open one of my posts here? Mine are showing up blank.
Thanks guys! I appreciate the comments. I put this up at the D5 Render gallery but deleted it since it didn't get any movement. I don't know what it is about the D5 Render forum but it rubs me the wrong way. Too many architects? I don't think I'll be posting there anymore.
@ntxdave Memory. This one is basically like your typical tract ranch with gable ends and a center bump-out. That combined with all the details and elevations I've done over the years. I start with an idea in my mind and go from there. Sometimes I'll mull things over in my head while before I go to sleep. I guess you can look at a lot of house pictures. I stick with standard wall heights, roof slopes, windows, roof types, etc.
Pavilion or glass house design I whipped up for practice. Style is arbitrary for me at this point. Gets tedious. This is what I decided on.
I just got this inspiration to design something with old school twin t's. They used to build apartment building with twin t's in mass number.
