Thanks very much. I know how to do it via Windows, but if we start programming in Windows SDK instead of Ruby, this is less fun, and more important, additional headaches for deployment. One suggestion would be a few members of the sites, knowledgeable in system programming (Windows and Mac) group their efforts to build a utility libraries (dll) to complement the Ruby API of Sketchup (menu, events in tools, mouse, etc...). Unless the Sketchup SDK is more powerful!

Thanks very much Todd. There are strange things on the Mac, like the fact that several keys (alphas and numpad) do nt seem to be trapped on the KeyDown, but only on the KeyUp event. This is also the case for Tab, Del and Backspace. This may be due to the VCB interference. I'll see what I can do. Thanks again Fredo

It's easy anyway to replicate LangHandler with your own version you control (and anyway a GetString method that takes a default in case the string is not found). My observations were that it's seems that the community of Ruby 'scripters' prefer to avoid proliferation of files and deliver extensions with one or very few files.

Would be a nice feature And an method to add controlpoints at specific places (don't think it's possible right now ?) ups - doubleclick - sorry Is it possible to enter a value for the distance to move a controlpoint ? Or even better - make it possible to click on a point and be able to enter it's z-axe value. Btw - this is a fantastic tool when creating paths for animations

I've had no success either. I guess its because if you look at how its recommended to embed Ruby in an App, its a very simple ruby_run() model. So SU may be multi-threaded or not, but the call to Ruby is a busy wait. Pretty much the only thing that does work is spawn a Ruby thread that twiddles the Sketchup.set_status_text Adam

On peut garder l'ancienne version. Il y a compatibilite dans les deux sens (on peut editer une courbe de Bezier creee par une macro avec l'autre macro), mais je me suis arrange pour qu'il n'y ait pas de clash entre les deux macros.

Martin, Thanks very much. This works perfekt, i.e. as far as my poor German can recognize, but I am sure you found the right terms. And it took me 2 minutes to integrate. So, Viele Danke Fred

Thanks Edson, very kind of you No hurry. I need a few more weeks to get feedback on bugs and wishes, and also to make sure it works on Mac (not easy I don't have a Mac myself). I may also add NURBS to the set of supported algorithms. Fredo

Hi Fredo, Well, I'm finished (I hope). Still I'd need to see it in work with the Hungarian version for we have words differently written in different contexts. There seems to be some mistake in the original file though, see lines 96-97 of the original: the French reference is not there and I guess trhe Edit was not translated either. BZINF_InfoCreate = ["Double-click to finish and Edit", "Double-cliquez pour finir"] I corrected the language reference (I hope) but did not touch the translation (lines 159-161 of my translation): BZINF_InfoCreate = ["Double-click to finish and Edit", "|FR|Double-cliquez pour finir"] "|HU|Dupla kattint\ással befejez \és szerkeszt"] Thanks for this and looking forward to "hot test" my translation! bzstring_HU.txt
