I'm no genius when it comes to making mats/texturing, it's by far my most deficient area. As far as adjusting it, you can increase the roughness, increase the bump, and/or change the size of the noise texture used to create the bump. These will all affect how "smooth" the flake looks and how much flake there is in the .mat. Change the color of the two lower layers to change the color of the paint.

Where the hell are the birdies! Joke. Very interesting idea! I really love it! My subjective opinion is that it's a bit to tidy, clean and straight. I don't know if I'm using the right words here, but what I mean is that it would be nice to see some cracked bricks and a bit skewed frames here and there. And birds of course!

Thanks for this. You can listen to multiple tracks at once from the browser and record them as you listen, rather than downloading single tracks, if you use a 'playing now' recorder, something like HarddiskOgg. http://www.fridgesoft.de/harddiskogg.php

Thanks. Yep, that's it. $499 is a leeeetle over the top, you can find these for around $100 most of the time. They're just uncommon.

The H1N1 flu is a descendant of the 1918-19 influenza, of which an estimated 500 million people worldwide suffered and 30-50 million died. H1N1 may appear bantam weight, but it's still nothing to take lightly.

Gorgeous collection of designs. It's interesting to compare the drawings with the actual; they seem to have abandoned a few finials and changed the top windows on the right hand gable. Adcote is private school for girls now. [image: PL008050.jpg] [image: 11Pf_Adcote_East_Wing.JPG]

Thanks! I got to play with a punch card phone for a little bit, instead of a rolodex you simply inserted the punched cards with the name on it to dial. Handy, but not too practical.

@escapeartist said: ........Perhaps the second question may be more philosophical with regards to an architect's motivations, but if your client handed you a portfolio of North U.K. sod-roofed cottages as references would you present an earth-bermed Frank Lloyd Wright? Thanks for posting the pictures. As for the above question, I suppose it would depend on how hungry I am. If you are not a builder, I suggest that you go to one that has a turn key operation with Architects on staff. While you are the Client, the Architect is additionally responsible to the City and State to provide a viable, legal solution. Are your request doable in your location in terms of building codes, etc.? Will your request require R&D not covered by standard fees? If not are you willing to pay for the R&D? The typical architects is typically ill equipped to pursue R&D, and depend on their association with manufactures to advance the state of the art. I can't speak for others, but my work is more about art, within the parameters of what I know about build-ability. What Box says below is also correct. In addition each Architect has his own area of expertise, are you talking to ones that are knowledgeable about your notions?

I am seeking a plugin that for a while I was using it to make natural stones. I have forgotten the name but when it was applied to a say cube, the result was a subdivided and noisy pull-pushed , stone-like volume. something just like a natural stone. does anyone knows its name? Ps: I found it : http://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=323%26amp;t=54833%26amp;p=497875%26amp;hilit=noise#p497875

Does the name Barry Madoff ring a bell? He was sentenced to 150 years for running, essentially, a ponzi scheme involving about $65 billion. I'd call that justice. In the case to which you referred, it doesn't say what portion of the $3 billion that the CEO, Paul Allen, actually kept. Also, the fact that his crime was not a violent crime makes a huge difference.
