I create some on a plane with density I want, here more dense at the bottom and less at the top. Then, I make all I said before (duplicate all piont and plane, use the Qhull plugin...)

If you want a planar voronoi diagram :
1 - Make a planar point cloud (with a Construction point plugin)
2 - Duplicate the cloud verticaly
3 - Use Qhull -> Voronoi -> Selection (free)
4 - Delete cloudsAfter that, you can use Protrude, Make latice or other plugins to make some thickness to the edges.

Can you use the period in the SU standard value input ? I cant ! I must use the comma and the semi-colon as separator (i.e. 10,5;22,4 for a rectangle).

They should not have length indications. Vectors are just direction indicators.No, cm is in the default setting.
If it's 0cm it's ok, but if it's 0 cm (with space) it dont work.OK, I know why I have the unit after value, because it's a SU setting in the Model info : "Display units format". Uncheck it, disable the cm.
... And if I set the Precision (in Model info -> Units) to 0 instead 0,0 all it's ok in the Fur setting windows, I have 0,0,5 (but setting 0cm for Precision or mm for Units in it's not ok for my way of work ) -

Comme je viens de la poster sur le sujet dans la forum Plugins, la dernière version 1.3c me pose des problèmes avec les virgules ou les points dans les valeurs sur mon windows en français

I just update the v1.2 to the new 1.3c with the nice new features.But...
I'm french and use SU on a french vista system. In french we use the comma (,) for decimal separation.
In default setup, all numbers are in french (0,0cm,0,0cm,5,0cm) and of course it read like a 0,0,0 (with an unread 0,5,0 after).
If I use a period (0.0cm,0.0cm,5.0cm) the plugin dont workWhy all the world dont use the same way to measure and write numbers ???

I dont know how you made your helix. Mine was made with dynamic componant with a single point inside, copied with some sin and cos formula in the X an Y value, and manualy joined with line finaly welded. This way to draw the helix perhaps cause the bug ?I also tried with odd number of point in the helix, so no point at 180° to the start position, and all it's ok.
So I know how manualy fix the problemPS@Pilou : Damned ! you know I'm french !

First of all, is the first time I post here, so I want to thanks TIG and all for these fabulous SU plugs that expend SU possibilities !!!So, I use EEbyrails and other EE (and other plugs) for non standard architectural modeling. I use some other soft (MoI, Rhino, C4D, Revit...) but I want to use SU cause is the simply free way to teach 3D modeling to my students.
But, when I try to make a free profile helix EEbyrails have some problems :

If I to with helix as rails, some profiles are 180° rotated (I can manualy rotate to have the good result), an if I use the NURBS as rails, the profile is not the same along the helix.
Is it a bug or a problem with my model ?
