Lost my vistools and could find it... This has been the most used tool in my toolsbars. But for some reason I lost it and could make it appear... Must be some plugins that I installed that caused it to disappear. Tried reinstalling via Pluginstore but still it wont show up.

RE: [Plugin] FloorGenerator ( Updated 6-Apr-2017)Hi SD Mitch..Excellent , excellent , plugin, wow...this will be very useful. There are two things though. How do you control the magnitude of the imperfections. For example in the wood type, the imperfections( like the levels )are a bit to strong. The other thing is, in reality when tiles are set they are not perfectly leveled in Z , it will be most evident when you see the reflection of objects in aglossy floor. Is it possible to randomly rotate each by its center axis say about .2 to .5 degree in both x & y? This might be too much to ask.. Otherwise hey, I can do it manually...Thanks for the wonderful plugin...

RE: Honeycomb pattern on my reflections?? help!I noticed that the illumination are the ones having this weird pattern ...the objects itself in the reflection are not..

RE: Problem importing 3d files in dwg formatSolved!!! I just tried inserting with the "inch" unit rather than the "mm". I was thinking that If I change the unit in CAD to mm and scale the object accordingly. It will be imported with the same mm unit. This model is probably modeled in the inch unit (Im guessing). I tried bringing back the unit to inch in autocad and inserted with the inch unit in the import option (though Im in mm unit in SKP) The size matched very well and the model is no longer broken. Thanks everyone for your input.

RE: Problem importing 3d files in dwg formatNo luck.. Tried scaling it 1000x but still came in broken...

RE: White black and red housevery promising design.. Looks to me though a structural challenge. but really very nice.

Problem importing 3d files in dwg formatI always find trouble importing pre-made models in dwg format. A good model with a perfect mesh would land in sketchup broken and unusable. Is there something Im not doing right. This is a recurring problem that I just brush aside and always end up redoing or repairing the model. Still most furniture company publish their 3d blocks in dwg format. Hope there's a fix to this.

RE: [Plugin] Bitmap To MeshHi everyone, just installed bitmap to mesh. Can anyone show me where I can locate the tool?

RE: Lock selection??Yes, your plugin is so nice and useful. But what I meant by "lock selection" is not to lock the objects but only the selection. Meaning if I have 3 objects selected, and lock it, I wont be able to select any other object in the scene. In this way, I can make sure, I wont be able to select any other object in the scene, In case I want to manipulate them. This is a very useful toggle button in 3ds max.

Lock selection??HI everyone, What is the tool to lock selection?. I know that we can lock objects, so it cant be edited. Im aware that we can lock layers but can we lock selection so we can not select anything else until the selection is unlocked?

RE: ReflectionsReally nice work.. Keep wondering which part of the image is model, and which part is photoshop. Is the wet road a 3d model?

RE: Bedroomvery lovely renders... Did you model everything in SU? Very nicely textured. Wish I could make these model of pillows and blanket. Very nice curtain. The only thing I feel is that the colors are lacking saturation, I mean the colors are just a little bit bland to come alive, maybe its a style, or maybe just my over-bright screen. One other thing, In the first image the wall lamp is throwing a bright spot but it doesnt look lit. Great work overall!

RE: Pocket KnifeWow super high poly for a knife. In reality tiny things are harder to model. But hey, nice clean modelling . If I have choice, I would have every piece of my model this detailed if SU can handle them. . If I have choice, I would have every piece of my model this detailed if SU can handle them.

RE: American cinemaAwesome as always.. YOu know how to liven up a raw render ...How do you do the wet concrete, and road? must be a big hi res map? where can I get this? YOu know how to liven up a raw render ...How do you do the wet concrete, and road? must be a big hi res map? where can I get this?

RE: Problem with hi-res texture maps@thomthom said: Use a low res texture in the main (top diffuse) the one that's linked with SketchUp. Set its Transparancy slot ot use a TexAColor map - set to white colour. That way the layer is not visible in the render, but visible in SketchUp. Then create a second diffuse layer with the high-res texture - this is the one you'll see when you render. Is this a good practice in general, to have two versions of maps, one low res and high res? Will it make my skp file more manageable in size but will yield better texture quality in the render?

RE: Rolleiflex Automat [Model Progression Thread]Im learning from this project Bryan, And this is how we learn, watch from the masters , Nice Tip there BOX! didnt know replacing component to be this easy. But Im wondering when SU can have Text editor to simplify things up.

RE: Ceramic housevery impressive rendering indeed . I wonder how much time each render takes.
Thea has been taking great leaps! @stefanq said: WOW! Thea is brilliant in the right hands!
V-ray....be afraid....I have seen lots of Thea renders that are impressive really. If I havent seen the
best of vray (at least in max, which VFSU is trying to catch up ) I 'd have switched. One of these days, I'll try Thea
