Thanks, I introduced the animation because the redisplay was so damn quick, it was confusing, particularly going backwards (left). Now I think it is good because it shows the interface is a machine in its own right, not a metaphor for paperwork. From the other post, you will see I'm a builder; I find my tools not at the library but at the builders' merchants!

Could you post at least a screen shot showing what you are getting? Better would be a SketchUp file showing it.

Have you tried Fredo's Round Corner extension? It will do bevels too and it is more up to date.

I've been running SU on a laptop with Vista for five or six months now without any noticable performance issues.

Should be possible. I would just need an api for SU2KT to export at each frame. Perhaps in the next version.

did you make the monster head using only this ruby script? can you make a complete tutorial for that organic shape? FFD i only found it in 3ds max and you make for sketchup great plugins

What are you expecting it to do that it doesn't?

Keep in mind the author stopped updating it in 2013. It's unlikely that it'll get any updates but as far as I can see it doesn't need to be updated.

A lightweight solution for plugin installers is to use self-extracting zips:

izarc gives you a few basic options as well. You'll have to make separate installers for 32/64bit Windows (since 64-bit systems use C:\Program Files (x86)).

So the piston makes the trick 😍

Search for "SketchyPhysics" on 3d warehouse. There are tons of models.

Oscillator joint was replaced by a setting in piston. Magnet doesn't work yet.
