I think it will be safe from legal action from Pink Floyd because it will be too low under the record company radar. It might not be accepted by TS though.

I also think you'd be very lucky to make a single sale with that model.

I already sold it off the books but whatever I guess you ppl are right. I should just make different designs.

Do you think this model would be considered illegal to sell? I made it 100% but the fact is that this is on the cover of a music record. I would probibly would think of this as a nike symbol and there are some nike stuff on that website so do you think it will be safe for me?

is there way to make textures for 3d models in Photoshop? I always thought how much better I could make textures if I didn't have to UV map them.

Well since I bought Subdivide and smooth yesterday my modeling today seems to be allot better. I refined my RX-78 and now its so much smoother then before. Heres an example image. Hopefully this model will continue to come out the way its going now.

is there a way to select all the sides at once and turn them all green instead of individually doing them separately? I am sick of going through half of the model turning some red pieces I don't want touched to green and its very time consuming I would rather do them all at once.

Man it hasn't even been 10 mins yet and I already know how to work this plugin its so easy =D I figured out how to do it BTW answering my own question but now heres another in the pic below you can see I infact added detail to the model giving off the look I was looking for but now the edges seem low poly "by the boosters", is there a way I can add easy polys to the edges without making this an all nighter?

LOL how convenient I just got an email confirming the purchase for subdivide and smooth and I can download it right away, I guess I am about to find out if this can work. I will post up screen shots when I learn the plugin.

you can see how I put together the back end of the leg.

ANYWAY I just want the plugin to smooth out what I said above and keep my basic shape meaning I don't want the hard edges between the pieces such as the knee cap and lower half of the leg to blend in.

OK you can see that the leg here is based upon 2 points before the end points and that makes it seem like its kinda blocky around the edges when I really want to make it look smooth.

I am wondering if subdivide and smooth can edit that face without messing with any of the corners because I have it in the shape I want it already, all I want is to make the fillings look smoother.

Its as simple as marking a unfold line and then letting the computer do the rest for this model I cut my Gundam Angela leg in half and then let the auto UV do the rest heres a SS. BTW I lost image quality somehow.

This will be great for my textures.

Of course this is just an example you wouldn't actually UV map a "hard" object like that.

Yes I have finished the flesh tunnel "FINALLY" sooner or later this is going to be real but for now its only 3d =P.

I knew it would be valuable for me to come to this forum. Now is there a plugin that can turn things inside out? I would much rather do that instead of making the other edge which is a pain.
