Two options: Apply the image as a texture to a continuous face. Make two similar components, each unique. Soften the edges and multicopy them to the model a specified spacing.

Hi guys, Indeed, I have tried from contours on a mesh previously created from scratch of the sandbox (expecting the closest result as it had been before deleting the faces) and it came out completely different and unpredictable (and lot more edges than necessary). So my solution was not the ideal here.

@krisidious said: it's always vector for me... dwg and for adobe that works well. Krisidious, I mostly export dwg as well. However, the quantity of entities KILLS me. The SketchUp drawing below has 49,595 entities. I believe this is because dwg does not support Bezier curves or ellipses. All arcs, ellipses, curves and many lines are broken into segments. That is, a simple circle (a single entity item in some vector drawing programs) breaks down to 24 entities in SketchUp. And, the quality of the dwg export is not really good - even for relatively simple objects. Many lines go missing, corners don't meet, etc. I've tested this in Corel Designer and Illustrator. If I have a choice, I bring 3D models into SolidWorks for export as dwg. The filters are fantastic and the results are nearly perfect. Other programs with similar results to what I get with SketchUp (high entity, bad quality vector export) include QuadriSpace, Right Hemisphere (Deep Exploration), and Adobe 3D. Also a good idea is to try removing all other plugins and see if it is not a plugin conflict. There are a couple out there that will completely crash SU when combined with other plugins.... More specifically speaking, I had a VERY similar issue with another renderer - turned out it was a different plugin I had installed that would cause SU to crash when I tried to run the rendering program. So you might just remove all other plugins for a bit and see if that helps?

@ramdelgp: quoted "as you can see i dont know how to do the push pull to make the separation for the wood table.." What do you mean by "separation for the wood table"? The table I see is/could be a separate component modeled, then placed in the scene. You show a closeup of the ceiling plank joints. Are you wondering how to round off the edges of the planks? If so, I would suggest to take one plank profile, round off the two edges to be exposed, copy the entire contoured edge of roof and walls, do a select and follow me on the profile. Then make this a component and multicopy this by Move+Control xtimes along the ground level horizontal at the specified distances. I probably did not understand your intent.

@jim said: ...has a nicer user interface... Well, at least simpler (with lots of easy to use presets) and easy to use, fast to set up... @jim said: Is it correct to say anything that can be done in Twilight can also be done in Kerkythea, but may be more work to get there? True. In fact, there are some features that are not present in Twilight but from Twilight, after setting everything up, you can easily export your model to Kerkythea and use those features there.

Yes, definitely scaling issue. There is something else however - why are you applying the texture on the component and not on the faces inside? It is quite indifferent at the moment however this way you give up the opportunity to accurately position your texture.
