Thanks Gaieus,
I almost didn't recognize you with this new avatar.
Cheers!

Maybe Gaieus knows about this, since he's been working on clay bricks, and tiles for long.
There was an hexagonal clay floor tile in SU 6 very pretty and very realistic.
After I installed SU7 it went missing and instead a white hexagonal tile now appears.
I tried editing it to give it the natural, warm and lovely color and texture it use ti have, but it does not come out so:
when you select a reddish, clayey color it comes out with cherry-red spots and yellowish tint.
Is there a way to recover that lovely hexagonal clay tile?
Thanks fellows,
This is an old issue:
I read long time ago about the way to change the "avatar" (male figure in the SU default template).
I barley remember that you can use your own pic for this.
Q. After I build an avatar of myself, how can I make it face the camera all the time?
Thanks for your help.

Hello everybody, long time not been around and after retaking SU practice, I am feeling dumb.
I need to build several arches with common clay bricks. I have tried reading several posts but I may be missing something.
I tried "Curved Stairs" from Taff Goch but could not make it work. I got messed up and confused.
Any ruby or step-by-stepp tut on this? I need not only half circle (medio punto) arches but Spanish arches (Escarzanos) and catenary arches too.
Thanks everyone.

Thank you James for the link. I assumed everyone got the SU Newsletter.

Hello my friend, Happy New Year and congratulations for this interview in SU Update. I found it mostly a "Digital Design, Best-Practices Wiki!
Honestly you are doing a superb work and wowing the entire SU community by making us somehow witnessing what ancient people should have in architecture.
Keep on doing it my friend. You really rock!
The truly best to you all times,
Odlanier.
(Besides, to be honest, I never found answers for that workaround. And it hurts when you need to switch SU off to go elsewhere to finish. It's so much fun! the nearly best design e-tool I've ever had. The very best one will be SULO 7... I hope)
Ok Gaieus, right again.
However, I'd stilll wish I could have a one-stop design session in a properly fitted SU-LO match, rather than resorting back to, non-SU-non-intuitive-semipro clumsy CADs.
Let's make it one more item in my LO wish list.
Cheers
Though LO was a good attempt as a seamless PlugIn for hard copies it failed to deliver for large projects and it never got fast enough for efficient prodution.
I had to give up on LO for construction docs. I spent ages trying to print A2 sheets and couldn`t. Nobody could explain why it kept coming out as a set of several lettersize sheets. I still use friendly SU for 3D modelling, though.
According to the posts I've seen here it appears that LO has been left with no improvement plans from Google.
Does anyone know whether there will be any LO 1.0 version soon and what this version will hold?
Cheers
