Yeah, as I suspected. Unfortunately a proper follow me tool (or a plugin) seems to remain a "wish"

works like magic. Thank you both very much. I can tell it's going to take a little while to be able to use it effectively, but I can already do some things that I couldn't do before. So, thanks again. I will make an effort to contribute time as well.

Well, I do not use Sensiva anymore. I replace it with Stroke-It and AutoHotkey I use a pen tablet to draw gesture holding both left and right button*. These are the gestures I use with SketchUp and AutoCAD : [image: 5Rnv_skp.jpg][image: pDSa_aCADabra.jpg] *And Here, the script for AutoHotkey : With AutoCAD and almost softs : ~RButton & LButton;; send {MButton down} Keywait LButton send {MButton up} return With Autocad and Sketchup (which uses right click differently with context menu): RButton & LButton;; send {MButton down} Keywait LButton send {MButton up} return RButton Up;; send {RButton} return It works fine ! @sorgesu said: Flip. right click on the object you wish to click ( assuming it is a group or component, otherwise select it all first and then right click) look for "flip along" and choose the flip axis direction from the sub menu Right click does it 4me. thx.

Probably the best place to submit a request is the SU wishlist forum on here. Personally i think including the perimeter would make the entity info more crowded than it needs to be.

all I can tell you is following: make a group with your walls, and edit your insulation outside the group. While your group won't change, you will be able to edit the thickness of your insulation material - I suggest you to use the joint pushpull ruby to save a lot of time.

Instruction sheets, manuals, help sections, FAQ's, Google and search facilities are for wimps and the mentaly infirm. The best way is to ignore them all (and the post 2 before yours) asking the same question as every other begineer over and over and over and over again and again and again... until there is no-one left on the forum to help anybody. Isn't it?

It sucks when it crashes.... I went through that stage when I had a 32mb video card before, an open case cpu with a fan full blast to keep my cpu run cool. It also cool working on sketchup, together listening in a winamp, and browsing internet. but in the end we all depend on the hardwares of our computer. I dont have the latest cpu. Dual core athlon64 x2, 2gig ram, 512mb video, but i still make sure to close other programs when woking with sketchup just to make sure I dont get crahsed and have a better response. try to download the latest one, it did save my time once. @dave r said: Cryorazor, I'm guessing that you are exporting at higher than screen resolution. This is the typical reason for lines to appear thinner than you see them on the screen. The simplest thing to do is export at screen resolution to get closer to the WYSIWYG image. be carful with this little baby behind the wheel he migh cause an accident.. he looks innocent but u never know...

Float cursor on rotation point and use arrow keys to change orientation. Once you've found your desired orientation then left click & rotate as per normal.

@remus said: That makes a bit more sense now. I think what you are refering to is a studio setup, very similar in effect to a photography studio. And theres no problems with postign links to other websites (unless its to pirated material.) yup! its just that i found out that it is called studio setup.

Hi Xavier, Sorry for not coming back to this yet. I downéloaded your model yesterday and had a short look but then I had to go to a meeting and my whole day was a mess. Anyway, I haven't thoroughly gone around the problem yet but what I noticed was that most of your model is onder the ground level. I could imagine this at some parts of the world but this hilly-billy area shouldn't be so low.
