Hi, Jim: Yes,it would make it easier to read if organized the way you have shown above. I tested the your latest version on my laptop. I noticed that if I select the component and manually scale it, the totally length does not update. If re-enter a value in the dialog and press enter or click the Apply button, then all fields update correctly. In one of the previous versions of the component I believe the total length would automatically update. I have been having some performance issues with my laptop so maybe that is the issue?

For who will need such a texture in the future and no better one will be available, I ended up making one. Is not very good, but is the best I could do. Here it is: [image: mCSt_Texturapiatra_C.jpg]

Thanks all, I am back and functional. FYI. When SU is first installed the materials folder is locked. So when you try to use the "options" screen in Twilight Render to change paths after doing an upgrade the new path will not take. Unlocking the folder made life a lot easier.

Thanks Jim Sorry about the extra components in the file. I have purged them and uploaded the new file to SteelSelect - lot smaller I understand your comments on The poly-count - this model was one that we imported from AutoCAD and does look very heavy on the lines. What process would you recommend to drop the count? Regards Richard

Can the models be used for commercial use? Yes. Essentially what the EULA is saying is that you may not put the models (model = individual component or model containing components) on a public site where anyone can download and extract the components from. 3D Warehouse and Google Earth are both such places. It does not restrict you from posting rendered images as posted here. Len Hordyk DynaSCAPE Software

@solo said: Hmmm... What render engine do you use? This kinda looks like Vray and tons of photoshop (all added stuff in PS has no shadows) Hmm I see what you mean now. I am using Podium at the moment. I'm not to worried about the post photoshop stuff, trees etc. Its just developing a style similar to the actual building?

There is definitely some post-processing done in the original example. Reflections have been added and I suspect those long lines running through the sky are added afterward, too. I think a major difference between your image and the examples is their use of simple, transparent trees. You could edit yours to make them transparent which would help. I have made quite a few styles but wouldn't presume to copy an existing one even if it is commercially available one. If you really want that style, you should get it from Form Fonts.

Thanks! I got to play with a punch card phone for a little bit, instead of a rolodex you simply inserted the punched cards with the name on it to dial. Handy, but not too practical.

You might try something like Tiles 042 at arroway http://www.arroway-textures.com/en/products/tiles-1/contents You'll find some free low res textures at the bottom. If you're ever in the market for something high quality and high res. I highly recommend buying the arroway packs. They come in super high resolutions (~6,000x6,000 pixels many times), are high quality, and have good sample sizes (20x20 tiles instead of 2x2). -Brodie
