Hi Joe- Your most reliable way to get help directly from the SketchUp or LayOut teams is to post on our new support form at forums.sketchup.com. We do read through this forum but less regularly. In any case, the only information I could extract from the crash reports you sent is that it's crashing while trying to send an image to the pdf export library. Does your LayOut file contain any images that you've imported? thanks, Marc

The way I've done this before is to just hide the top edge of the slab and bottom edge of the wall; this way it doesn't display.

You are welcome, I am very interested what you find out as I am bit confused with the Ortho functionality when dimensioning.

The simplest and best fix is to avoid double clicking the viewport to change the camera position/zoom level. It's better to make the changes to the scene in SketchUp so the viewport remains connected to the scene. You can resize the viewport in LO but don't open it to change the view.

In layout there are two places where you can get styles from to use on your document: 1 - Sketchup model - wich it's symbol is the small house on the styles tab 2 - Styles Library - wich is any library you have/create on sketchup, if you keep adding styles from here with the same name, it will keep on adding them to your document but won't replace them... Maybe that's what's happening.

Minor additional info - my 'old' LO file for the house model loads does whatever conversion is needed and appears to be fine. Updating the model - which seems to load the 'new' version of the house model as saved by SU14 yesterday - still looks good. Very odd.

I haven't had any problems with shadows showing in LO2014. Did you update the style in SketchUp before updating the reference and rerendering the viewport in LO? How about completing your profile with OS and SU versions?

Probably the same issue, in document setup the reference is marked red, after update, the layout is changed but the text remains red. Windows 7 (x86)

I was having the same LO 2013 display issues - the SU styles would incorrectly import as wireframes. After reading your posts I updated my graphics card driver and that solved the problem.

Just to see if those bugs were because of the comma config, i put commas back. And those zoom and keyboard problems disappear. Problem: if i save it with commas, it will mess up the whole thing. Now i'm configuring back to points everytime i save it. That's so very strange. You see, my local configuration is a comma, because we use commas instead of points. While my Windows is in Portuguese, my Sketchup is in English (The translation is so rubish, it pisses me off). Do you think if i change my sketchup language to portuguese, those problems will disappear?

I updated by latest packages from MS's KB(MS will drop or dropped support of xp soon). I think something in components from infragistics or maybe in russian os(language dependent)

Marc, I've done dimensioned three or four projects with LO2013 and haven't had any problems with offset dimensions at all. Thank you so much for the fix.
