I like the project with lacobel, but still too dark in the room ... I'm curious what your camera settings in the options ISO, shutter speed, fnumber?

Here's a similar shot [image: h30o_Battlecruiser-Solaris_final2.jpg] I made some modelling changes I'm not really sold on here BTW. Best, Jason.

Nice, I remember those little motors. Nerve wracking to spring start if you didn't have one of the little electric starters.

@bryan k said: Looking good. Arrays were one of the things that was hard for me to grasp at first. Some other tips: Use layers and components as often as possible. This keeps the file size down and helps with quick changes later if needed. Scale is very important in 3d. Make sure things are "right-sized" in relation to other things and reality. Use the numeric scale feature as often as possible. Keep up the good work! Thanks, I am getting right into Sketchup and understanding the Layers and Components more and more. now that I look at the pic again the scales are really up the wall )

it makes life easy and maybe then you prefer to tweak materials or even migrate to easier or even harde/more aqqurate render engines . about KT, I've prepared a fast start you can find it over net (KT fat start 4 architects), and hope you like it

Didn't spend much time lately on modeling but was fooling around with Keyshot. I must say that texturing is completly new to me. That all looks just too shiny and darkish somehow... [image: IKmU_470128_392244817469801_100000528579249_1450184_1870715375_o.jpg]

@dale said: @hellnbak said: Very nice, Dale. Your work always impresses me. One question - can you smoke in there? Unfortunately no. There are really strong anti smoking regulations in this Province. You can't even smoke within 5m from the door. Jeez, I'm just waiting for the Gone-Way-Too-Far Cops to show up at my door. They better be wearing respirators
