Hope it's OK for me to post this in here, there's nothing much to show yet but I want to use this thread as a bit of a 'modeling log' as am determined to get some good renders for my portfolio this year and am modelling (amongst other things) this country house which is about 20 miles from me.

I visited recently and got some photographs. There's also P&Es in a copy of the Vitruvius Britannicus which I have scanned in. There were some additions to the building in the C19th so the elevations do differ from real life but they should be a good guide for scale and mass.

Anyway, best start modeling ...

Thanks for the interest chaps, bit of pressure on me now to make it half decent (don't hold your breath!).

Anyway, spent about an hour on this tonight whilst watching Sherlock (great tele by the way). Off to bed now. Need my beauty sleep.
