Another odd angle for some, I am finding that I have to restart sketchup sometimes, Rayscaper slows but a restart of Sketchup cures this and back to the 6 minutes ballpark.

Some more odd scaling issues with boots.

When I can get the blind texture to render properly, there will be a blind unit in the window.

The raw Sketchup vioew will demonstrate what I mean when I mention textures not making it into Rayscaper.

    @jscottsmith Very informative.
Do you use Blender3D for modeling?

In school, we used to do similar with cut up baked bean tins and styrene (I think) washers.

    Did the job well enough.

The washers are pretty durable and come in lots of sizes.

@Bryan-K Thanks Bryan. I post this stuff at the D5 "community" forum and barely get any likes and the occasional "suggestions" from the peanut gallery.

This one is from "Central's Book of Homes" from Central Lumber Company which I got from Internet Archive which is still down. I saved five of them in PDF form before Internet Archive ran into trouble.

@pixelcruncher My pleasure to do that. I guess it works for beginners to get familiar with the interface and materials and those who are specially into product rendering.

I can only agree, you are on a proper roll with this series, not cheese and ham either.

Well the South African attempt to equip cars with flame throwers went pear shaped pretty quickly so you have to make do......

I have to say that there were lots of textures that did nothing, attached nowhere and were just bloating the file. A possible cause.

I have cleaned the model several times and will report back when it is retextured and re rendered to see if anything changes.

No coincidence mate, when you posted the thread about your hometown I had a look around virtually.

You have a fine combination of classic and modern architecture which blends in with the subject and being local, you can physically look around for inspiration rather than on a screen.

That modern art gallery seems to me, to be the best setting but you will come up with a cracking result whatever gallery you choose.

Ta mate, slight hiccup due to life events but thoe windows are a regal pain in the you know what.

Not one constant dimension in any of them so I have decided to cheat and standardise elements.
