Last night the screen went off the charts crazy, dialogue boxes opening and closing all over the screen and I thought everything AND the kitchen sink had gone nuts.
Switched it off and went to Bedfordshire.
This AM, tried again and same thing. Thought about it and narrowed it down to an input problem, then plugged a spare keyboard (OK, old keyboard) and nada. so I vacuum cleaned the current keyboad and everything is back to normal.

Tried a Rayscaper render, selected GPU, got this is around 4m 45s. No, I cannot see how the graphics card can do this. Chillblast are, quiet and not returning calls.
More changes to light and emiter range from target. I also ran this through the Affinity machine. Better imho.
From the window above the kitchen units, to the patio doors just out of shot to the right, is nine feet. The widest part of thgis units is sixteen feet six inches with stairs two fee wide.
Eight feet ceilings open up the room a bit but not much and render views are a little limited. I feel the elevated viewpoint looking down gives the best option but that is my opinion.

The crazy cat motif is there to demonstrate a dialectic glass effect which may take experimentation. As will the interior walls set to glass.

Something about megascans when I restarted Sketchup after making the changes in BIOS.
I am seeing a thirty second or more delay when selecting, painting a surface or importing an object which is something I have been seeing anyway. SKetchcup can take a minute or more to load to the welcom screen and then open a model even one saved to the OS drive.
Having said that, I sometimes get a onedrive saving error "Cannot save, this file is already in use by another user", this turns out to be a one drive folder in my microsnot account. These two renders were consecutive and I have no clue. The bonus is that in true architect fashion, the second render does bring the garden "Indoors"......
OK, finally got the onboard graphics online, adopted the classic engine in Sketchup and rebooted. Produced an immediate error in windows which I hope is a transient.
I think there is an improvement in this image, same view and same render time but 'feels' better. Opinions?
As far as I can recall, under the view drop down menu.
