So just think of the Scenes you create as photographs or snap shots of your model. Assign layers to the parts of your model including dimensions. Organize them so you can turn unwanted layers off for each snap shot. Move the camera as needed and adjust the layer visibility to show just what you want to see. Then create a scene. Change to the next and repeat.

Please don't laugh at me, Solo. I know your stunning works is from outer space. I would die for you skill and talent. It's shameful to show you this, but I have to. I did 2 version so far. I used push/pull and follow me for both of them.

Well, I'm glad to help even if I had no idea I was doing so. I just heard from the client. He likes the final design and thinks it should be an easy build. He said he'd send photos when it is finished. I'll try to post them here to show the "after".

Hi David, I know it's not much money and a midi wouldn't take up a lot of space but then there's all the tuning stock and the tools. My dream is to someday have a lathe big enough to use as a spar lathe. My shop isn't long enough for that at the moment.

Sorry, I donĀ“t know your ecabinets program, but on behalf of the circles: If I would export a circle into woodwop, it would create a routing routine. For drilling i have to enter a center point and not a curve. Could that be true for your situation?

Finally finished. Ive deleted the old one and uploaded the new, improved, version to the 3DWarehouse. Ive changed the link posted earlier so it should take you straight to the new one. Many thanks to Dave for the advice and to Luca for his excellent plans.

Tick the SVG box in the main cutlist window and the SVG images will be saved to the same location as the model is saved. Then just open the images. If you use Firefox, I think there's a plugin to allow it to open SVG images. I think Safari will open them directly. You can also open them in Photoshop and many other image editors. I don't use the layout portion of CutList often but when I do, it is usually to share with someone else. For those, I convert them to PNGs so they are more easily viewed.

Dave, I think I've got it now! Thank you for the added bit of advice and the tip on reversing the faces. This is a great site and I am grateful for everybody's input on the site. I'll be sure to post the completed table when it is done and hopefully the actual piece once it is built! -John Mark Power

A reboot! - that usually works... If it doesn't [which rarely happens - just now and again] there are free tools - 'unlock[er]' - that will force the system to release the file that's messed up - although sometimes it might require a restart anyway... Be wary as many 'unlock[er]' related downloads are loaded with Malware - but this one seems OK http://emcosoftware.com/products/unlock-it/download.php
