Nicely done! I don't use marking gauges near as often as I should but I appreciate markings on the ones I have. I don't expect the markings to be accurate enough to set and forget so tweaking is the norm. That is where the markings come in. When you have to move it a smidge or a frogs hair you can reference off one of the marks and see if you have actually moved it or not and by how much.
Man ... now I just may have to make one of those.

RE: Match Photo Image Disappears
Well ... still no luck. I turned of acceleration, restarted the program and no change in behavior. Opened your file HornOxx without a problem, rotated away, clicked on the tab, nothing. Selected the scene 1 tab and it panned to a different view, clicked the dummie tab and the view rotated but the photo didn't come back.
I run a plugin called CabinetSense, I wonder if it could be affecting this in some way? -
RE: Match Photo Image Disappears
Still no luck Dave. Drew a box, rotated, click tab and nothing. Image attached to show graphics info, maybe it means something to you.
Out to the shop so may not be back on the computer before tomorrow morning.

RE: Match Photo Image Disappears
Thanks for taking a look Dave. I realize it's not the best image but ... I still can't get it to reappear when I click the scene tab. Not left click, right click or scroll wheel click. Not sure if it means anything or not but I can't select it in outliner either.
Thanks again.

So "hopefully" there is a file attached. I tried changing the watermark setting as suggested but didn't seem to work.

Match Photo Image Disappears
Good day,
I've been trying to do a match photo and after I set all my vanishing point, click done and inadvertently rotate the image disappears and I can't seem to get it back. I looked it up and I'm spose to be able to click the scene tab and have it come back. I've tried clicking everything and haven't been able to get it back. I'm sure it's a simple solution but I'm missing it so far.

I use SketchUp regularly but for basic woodwork design primarily. The problem that I have is remembering how to use different features that I don't use very often. Also understanding some of the language used, though it may be English it's not the English I learned in school. Are there good books available on the use of SketchUp and that might explain some of the terminology used in SketchUp? I ask about books because I find it helpful to have something beside the computer that I can refer to as I am working and I often don't have an internet connection available or have limited gigs of data usage (I live out in the country).
Thank you.

RE: Chamfer
Dave, Im having trouble getting the same results that you do. I created a box, made it a component, put it in edit mode, selected a face, off set it, selected the outside edges and then used the move tool to lower those edges. For some reason my attempts won't link the two at the corners. What am I doing wrong?
Thank you.
